The guy is gonna MOT mine before I get it, tbf!

What spec and engine did you get? How's the driving experience? Is it true that you really can't hear any engine noise from inside the car?

The engine is very well isolated . The windows are frameless which I didn’t know which lets in some wind noise on mine .

it’s very wafty and light to drive . It does have a sport button for the suspension that does seem to help . Good stereo,  lots of glass and comfy seats.

The deal breaker on yours was distance I couldn’t be arsed even though it probably isn’t that much further tab this one .

Pretty sure this is an accurate insight into Cort16 mind when he goes car shopping.

Man owns a C6, 320Si and a 200k RS Mégane II 225

Certainly living life to the max (liability)!

I’m hoping they make me seem windswept and interesting but it hasn’t  worked

Presumably like other frameless jobs they can be damaged by wankspangles closing/opening the door using the window?

You've bought a C6 so have this.

Did we miss the 320si and mega mile Megane 225? Man’s a fucking mentalist.

I'm delighted by the prospect of more C6 content coming up soon. Well purchased!

Once you've had a brew, woke up fully and remembered what you've done, can we have some nice photos of the big scary car?

Ta Cort

Will do, the first realisation is the French really loved smoking in the early 2000's as there must be 6 ash trays ad 3 cigarettes lighters. Thankfully this doesn't look like it's been smoked  in.

A car should be well smoked in. It gives the impression that someone’s really had a good time driving it. Plus it is expensive to smoke, so it adds to the value.

I must be the only (ex) smoker who never smoked in my cars. My vans however stank of fags

I've walked away from some good cars because I could smell cigarette smoke. As a life long non smoker it's a solid deal breaker to even have a whiff of it. Even those smokers who only smoke outside the car tend to leave a strong whiff on their clothes that transfers to the car fabric.

Some more pictures. Double glazed and frameless on all 4 doors, my DS5 also had this and it did make a difference in the cabin

All black. I think this is a bit austere especially with the silver paint. Lets make a car in black and white, I prefer the wood trim but the piano back on the door pockets is quite nice.

You see those switches at the left of the screen? Those control the angle of the screen when you press them a motor moves it.

I showed this to my 9 years old daughter would said "seems a bit pointless". Yes.

Tje car also had a heads up display, which I've never had before and has come in useful for reasons..

Heres the door pocket in mouth open position. Also had electric seats that amazingly citroen has laid out in an almost logical fashion

@dome, turns out it does have the fold down seats.

Those arses aren't massively dissimilar. I love that rear window. Also the boot has a flip up rear spoiler/air brakes.  not sure why unless it was going to do a tt.

Could have bee solved by a lip spoiler. No lets engineer something really complex into the rear boot lid.

The boot is massive even though it's a saloon.

And I've had my first "incident" started it up today and the instrument panel doesn't light up. Worked fine yesterday I must have cycled the car on and off 5-6 times including quite late on last night when it was working. I recon it's not been used much then being on for 5 hours tipped it over the edge once it had cooled down.

Seems extremely common, which  means there's companies doing exchange ones for not too much money. It also looks very easy to get out luckily.

Fortunately Citroen had thought of this as you can still get the speed on the hud and fuel level via the computer.

I've always viewed these as one of those annoying cars. Much like the l322(?) Range rover. The sort of beautiful piece of design that I couldn't have afforded brand new but would have happily have bought at ten plus years old. Indeed I bought a few when they were down to beer and fags money, a fiat coupe in broom yellow being a high light along with an e39.

I'd love one of these or the aforementioned FFRR but don't have the time or the money to keep mending them. I'm really hoping that this one and @GeordieInExiles show that c6s are actually good cars so i can grow a pair and buy something similar.

As logical as the layout for the seat switches is, why did they feel the need to put them on the door instead of on the seat where every other manufacturer puts them?

I think its so you can see the buttons you're pressing. Mercedes do it the same way
