My Dad did some work with Roy Wood in the early 70s. He told me that Roy bought this Car for his wife due to the number plate and Roy drove a Jenson Intercepter. I know in a box of photos somewhere at home theres a pic of both cars outside his house.

If you a wondering what the hoops on the back are , they're sort of bumpers that were added when the car was repainted and refinished at George Barris Customs
