I mean the XM, CX, C4 etc could be a bit volatile but the Xsara, Picasso, Ax, Saxo, C3, later C5 were pretty reliable so I don’t know where the reputation comes from. Perhaps it ‘All French cars fucking shit m8’

And taking on for decent money. 

My mate has just gone there contracting on a really good rate, reckons it's flat out. 

I think it's just because the average JLR owner only needs it to work for 3 years then bins it off for a new one. 

The only exception I can see being the new style Landy Defender as utilitarian type vehicles seem to be kept a lot longer. Seems mechanically very different to the rangey/disco.

The only funny motoring memes are by those who own an example of the car and post it on relevant pages. The old Clio Sport Facebook pages were pretty good for that.
