Green, red, orange, blue…. Lovely!! We have cars in colour, let's see your colourful interiors I loved the red interior in my Escort Ghia but in a time of film cameras, never took a pic, so a video screen grab is the best I can do MJK 24, Shite Ron and sutty2006 3
J W Pepper Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Rover SD1, my grandparents used to have a 2600 Vanden Plas with this interior, and Oporto red exterior Leyland Worldmaster, Shite Ron, bunglebus and 4 others 7
Supernaut Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Hmm. I've owned plenty of cars with silly exterior colours, but life inside all my cars has been a sea of greys and blacks, mostly. The E36 323i I have right now is probably one of the best coloured interiors I've had: GrumpiusMaximus and Shite Ron 2
MorrisItalSLX Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 What colour do you get if you mix all the good ones together? BROOOOOWN Lacquer Peel and Supernaut 1 1
Zelandeth Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 A few worthy of mention I think... The coffee and caramel theme of my BX continues as much inside as out. My parents had a Fiat Panda Fizz back around 2002 or so which was very green both inside and out. A Mercedes S123 with a very blue interior - which I think was an absolutely spot on contrast to the wood trim. Similar shades were the general theme in my much missed Saab 900. Few years before that one I had an earlier one which was as brown as that one was blue. Didn't have that one very long so tend to forget about it. Finally the Cavalier that I'll finally be in a position to take delivery of in the next few weeks is rather colourful. Think aside from those it's been the usual sea of grey and black. The Jag was beige on beige but wasn't really colourful in the spirit of this thread I think. I'd still take it over black which most of them I'd been in before were any day of the week though. jmsguzzi Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Couple of blues and a caramel, I never actually owned that Senator though sadly. Lacquer Peel and GrumpiusMaximus 2
maxxo Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 my C5 blue seats blue seatbelts blue dash trim lovely! Lacquer Peel 1
Spiny Norman Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Never managed green or red unfortunately but a 5 series and a Volvo 240 have had blue interiors, and of course the caramac velour-fest in the 70s Vauxhall. RayMK, ETCHY, Lacquer Peel and 3 others 6

I had to do a double take then, thought that was my Senator until I noticed it was an earlier model with later wheel. Subtle differences to centre console & gear shift visible here:

Have since seen it on eBay for 5 grand with a respray and the holes in the roof seemingly repaired. Still has an advisory list as long as the car itself though….
ETCHY Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Great thread I think that's one of the biggest issues with moderns, the interiors are often shit, they're generally just boring bloody black sometimes relieved by wanky mood lighting with a crappy digital display stuck somewhere. I like funky colours, velour or snazzy fabrics, colour keyed trim, maybe the odd bit of wood trim. It's time manufacturers got an imagination again ! Shite Ron, wheel nut, RayMK and 2 others 5
Three Speed Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 My son’s C2 was quite bright. New POD, GrumpiusMaximus, Low Horatio gearbox and 1 other 3 1

Nothing looks too serious in the advisories but seems to be something odd about the mileage from previous.
RayMK Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 'My' 1988 Stellar Gold Medal Edition which I had to let go in 2017 had a lovely homely beige interior. The next one is my 1961 Reliant Regal MKVI. Its interior is certainly colourful but also extremely basic. A Peugeot 205 which we had a few years ago had a streak of colour here and there which brightened up the drab grey. GrumpiusMaximus, bunglebus, Lacquer Peel and 1 other 4
bunglebus Posted June 30, 2022 Author Posted June 30, 2022 This was my friends Shoveit when he got it, had been stored for a few years. Cleaned up well but again I didn't get pics Lacquer Peel 1

GregZX Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 My ‘97 ZX SX. Plain black dash but rather snazzy velour seats offset that. AnnoyingPentium and Lacquer Peel 2
DavidB Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 My RX7 Low Horatio gearbox, B4lljoints and bunglebus 3
Low Horatio gearbox Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 @DavidB nice reminds me of my long gone Fb white with red velour interior. (Not my pic sadly) RayMK, Lacquer Peel and bunglebus 3
DavidB Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 FD has the best, comfiest interior, I love FBs though, never had a chance to own one
