mind you if MrB is happy with what he got then nobodys being ripped off, just not how I would do business with someone.

the same thing just happened to me, lad arrived at the door saying he had always wanted a 306 xsi, i thought hmm not ried to sell it yet but ive got the audi now so what the hell, i showed him around it took him for a hurle and a few sob storys later he had the keys and paperwork in exchange for 300 of the queens finest, then i get a call from the new owner asking for the service history  to cut along storry short the car has lost its service book along with 40k miles now thats a chancer

there is the difference a website as opposed to a forum... which to me is like the difference between a shop and a friend

I agree

I got a nasty verbal caning off one single-model forum regular, for asking why he kept posting up pics of items in his garage asking for them to be identified - but then insisting on putting them on eBay and refusing to offer them to said forum members first :? He even put a poll up to gain support to discredit the point...

Anyhows. Didn't spot this super-spesh Audi before. Has it been on before? It's lush.

That P100 saga reminds me of the last time i gave away something on freecycle, My old dishwaser that wouldn't clean plates, After falling for a sob story about how his son was dieing i end up finding it on ebay and selling for £100, That cheesed me off.

Now this car from the future is what autoshite is about!

she has been told the engine is only running on 3 cylinders. Unfortunately neither me or her are mechanically minded so we have no idea how to fix it

Plug leads maybe?

some parts of the bumper have fallen off as well as some of the exhaust.

Oh dear...

Should be made to function, as a car, preferably with the engine from some period Yank, but preserved as it stands, cosmetically. 8)

SITS HAPPILY ON THE MOTORWAY OR JUST AS HAPPY ROUND TOWN

Like he'd know? Don't know if it makes me a bit of a turd but if I saw an opportunity, I'd do the same, but this is very strange! 600 - 1600 is very optimistic surely?

I wouldn't worry about that P100 that much, it's not like you sold it cheap to him as a favour. If he thinks he can sell it for loads more, that's his (probably ill-judged) gamble.Always been a funny one with cars - you can resale pretty much anything, houses for example, not many people will have a problem with it. But for some reason with cars people go a bit mental.

Has anybody inquired as to how many miles the P100 is now showing. Perhaps it has had an operation recently :?

Talking of french shite how about this R4, It's great for upsetting your posh London Village neighbours!, Also I've never seen a R4 this young before, The newest one I've ever seen was a C plate that lived at our local TV repair shop.

I'm sure that they did a final edition Renault 4 called 'Bye Bye', which was yellow but I've never seen one.Think they stopped building them in 1993! Imagine seeing a K/L reg 4.

Hehe, just stuck in an offer for 500 sheets, that should cheer him up.

Just offered a cheeky, but realistic, £599.99p :)

I'm afraid that yellow five has caused severe tentage. Not only is it my fave car of all time, it will fit in my garage. Plus being yellow my kids will love it, it will get classic limited mileage insurance, be a hoot to drive and still give 40mpg (probably)I have 9 days to get my garage totally empty and painted up...

Sorry, I dont know how to turn pics into links..

On closer inspection (via supersize pics) it actually looks pretty solid!

Its a shame I ended up binning all my BT maestrovan bits. Id imagine they are a bugger to get hold of. I couldn't give them away!

C'mon. Grab it and make a matching van and trailer combo. Really gets the ladies damp that does.

Coffee all over my screen :P

Thanks but if it does not go i will relist, then if it does not go ill put it at the bottom of the garden and put chickens in it!Not being funny but i will never let it go for less than the start price it means too much to me,im sad enough as it is being in the position to sell it.I wanted to show it and take moulds from the kit, then over time turn it into a monster but now all my dreams are at an end,ive got to get new ones!! So you see id rather blow it up than basically give it away.

Now that I would pay to see

:D:D

what a feckin shed! I am speechless at the qwalitee of those front wheel arches and the cut and shut job he has done. Absolutley got to be worth £1200 of anybodys money.
