I went through that thought process too but its easier to just buy a 5cyl in the first place.

That is true. Ta for bringing those wings and the door up at the weekend BTW. Was nice to see you, hope you were not in too much trouble for spending ages looking at the Lancia.

I will be fine when I get one of the fast (or feels fast even if it is not, a la GT6) cars working.

A journo pal of mine is flogging his LPT Saab 900 Turbo. Starting bids encouraged at £500. Will fund purchase of a Maxi! He's also flogging a delightful Sandglow pair of an Allegro two-door and a Prinny 2.2 HLS (though not on Ebay). Buy this Saab and then you can sell it for £3000 because it once appeared in a magazine!!

Advert says "breaking" but may sell complete - it also says it has a v6 Ford engine fitted:

That's the absolute double of mine, apart from the saggy headlining which has been replaced.

I've tried selling mine a few times, I thought there was a market for these old Saabs, but it seems I'm mistaken. :(

^^ What's the chance of it still looking like that though. That picture looks like a scan in job from back in the day.

Seeing that it's not been taxed since 1992 i suspect it's nothing like that now, I bet the blokes phone has been ringing of the hook though, I wonder what money he's after for it?.

In other news this has been bought up on RR, a so called "Barn find" of a mint, shiny Mk1 Escort with some random straw thrown about and the sellers feedback shows he bought a 2 Dr Mk1 Escort last April as well as the spotlights in September, what a cock.

He he what a bell end. That's completely unconvincing. He should have persuaded some pigeons to shit on it for 3 weeks before trying that stunt.

It seems like it's likely one that was stolen last August, the internet forums have got very busy this afternoon about this car.

I'd be interested in that if he has a genuine reason for sale.

This car has only had one former owner. KAREN COLGATE of COLGATE'S TOOTHPASTE fame.

I honestly think it will actually take forever to think of someone who could have been pissed enough to order (or respray) a car in that colour scheme.
