^You could always just park it under an electricity pylon with the turbine up, and harvest some free 'leccy...

Pension run special. Or buy it, and ship Eddy the alloys.

Covin Porker rep. I thought the standard width body worked OK with a Beetle engine in it - you could dress it up as a 912 (ish). But I dread to think what the finished article would drive like with the proposed 18's on it. Scooby transplant time methinks.

S70 on 89k, with 5 months test. Just needs tax to go. £450 - bargainous barge.

I reckon if that milk float got going fast enough the turbine would generate more electric than the motor needed and it would go faster and faster until it reached 88mph and disappear in a massive flash.

This is the excuse given to me by our milkman every week when he forgets to drop off our longley farm yoghurts.

Posted

What a lying motherfucker, I bet he's 'dropping his yogurts' at no.38 without fail, that woman along there's got no shame! Etc.

Ernie got his cocoa there, three times every week!

The brains behind that milk float type tribute to Windy Miller must be living proof that care in the community had its drawbacks

I wouldn't normally post more than one pic, but I think this heap deserves to be seen in its' full majesty...

Shitey Xsara with taped wing mirror.

Given that the former keeper felt the need to advertise a local AM radio station not once but twice, I'm only surprised the boot dent isn't pushed out, from where their hog-tied victim tried to nut their way out.

And the crowning glory. How much silicone will it take to hold a stereo in the dashboard? Lets ask this inventive Shitroen owner...

Yours for only £395. The bodybag folded up under the spare wheel is optional.

From the Taunus advert:

'want a serious buyer who appreciates quality.'

That's him fucked then.

That Taurus looks a load of old bull to me

The front does look very Magentis like..Same designer/CAD prog perhaps? And Kia have been a sweatshop for Ford for decades.

Ooh Activa! Don't they have fancier (than normal Citroen) suspension?

Indeed so. Cancels out the bodyroll. Also an absolute pain in the arse if it goes wrong, though not as unreliable as most people think. 2-litre turbo too. I'm amazed by how much I want it.

A few of us don't live too far away Trig.

Incidentally the Triumph geezer got back to me and I arranged to view it yesterday morning. Then he called and said the bloke who'd made the offer via eBay was supposed to be coming for it so I left it as he seemed to think the bloke was going to buy it and said he'd let me if he didn't.

fuggin hell - can't go wrong with that one Ian, even if the suspension lunches itself you will still get 200 quid scrap.

only boring bit is the tax is out tomorrow.

go on you know you want to - a license loser and it frees up the 309 to be sold with an amusing advert...just think of how fast and comfy it is AND...afterall you are a motoring hack which means you HAVE to ...are indeed OBLIGED to collect such cars to give you material for your articles - you should look upon this as an INVESTMENT really

go on...you know you want to.....

buy it! :twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

Thanks for that, I'm surprised it lasted that long before it sold if I'm honest, That Magnum on the other hand is a hunny, £100 for the train up there though!

There's an episode of Postman Pat where Ted Glen tries something similar with Pat's post van.

Trigger's Professionals thread has me feeling the love for Capris. 45 minutes to go on this fine grotbucket with MOT until August, £900 at the moment:

most of the photos don't show the usual capri grotspots, apart from the lovely rot on the scuttle and a bit of the headlamp surrounds, rear quarters and front valance look shagged too

wonder what the other side looks like?

900 seems a little steep for a green 1600 mk3, IMO
