That seller is long overdue a message telling him what a turd he is.

What's amazing about that Marina advert is not the fact that he's tried desperately to replicate the few 'classic' ebay ads of the last couple of years resulting in a mess of staggeringly unfunny content, but the fact that so many people think it's OMG THE FUNNIEST THING IVE EVA SEEN MATE!!! LOL!!! and the fact that it's being passed around the forums like a piece of comedy gold.... the mind really boggles. Watching Bernard Manning drown a bag of kittens would be be funnier than that lot.

R9UKE, that is the Monty to have, and a wise way to spend a monkey.

It's good to see that it has some healthy bids, there is finally some love out there for a good one.

In other news, at £873...

Ug. This: "I suspect this RARE ROTTEN little truck was owned by a woman due to the lack of wing mirrors, Only women drive without wing mirrors its a proven fact that they are a distraction to women as they keep trying to get away from whats coming up from behind!!! apart from my mates mrs!! I was always coming up on her from behind!! mind you she didnt have a dent free undamaged little green tailgate, her back doors were always getting knocked about.."

You deserve a medal for wading through that lot, I stopped reading after paragraph one

^ Hmmm...forgot Ford offered a Sierra Ghia with the lowly 1.6 engine. :)

Ye Gods, that Marina pick-up ad is the most desperately, depressingly, unhilarious thing I've ever not-LOLed at.

That Sierra cheered me up no end though. And I normally hate white cars.

Sorry, that's such a 'girl' thing to say isn't it? "I don't like that car?" "Why?" "Because it's white." WTF?

What in the name of Greek buggery is going on with that thing?

That seller is long overdue a cat's turd in the post.

EFA.

Bloody Royal Mail - I sent it three days ago when I first saw the listing - surely he should have got it by now?

That Jag is flippin' ace! Check out all the holes drilled in the doors to try and lose a bit of weight, that is totally insane. I would love to roll up to the annual Mk2 Owners Club AGM in that beauty. Needs the other wheels fitted though.

with a bit of work it could be a film star

Scrubbers! Little tarts, they love it. Look at them, throwing themselves into the road!

I love that jag. If they'd post it to Mass i'd buy it. It'd be my daily driver over here every day all year round......... Oh yes.

Does anyone else remember a beer commercial on TV from the late 1980s, where a Mk 2 Jag is being restored, when the blokes working on it get a call from the owner who's changed their mind and wants a racing version instead (or vice versa, can't remember, I was about 8 at the time). Cue montage sequence of things being unbolted, sparks flying, sanding down of panels etc before the reveal of a 'souped up' version. Said gents then head off to the pub and just after they've left the 'phone rings again.....

No chance this is the same one, eh?

Fook me sideways, that Jag is just horrible. That spoiler thing looks like a snowplough and the wheel arch extension things are moulded from cack. Ugh.

1800cc v6 ???????.............Seems a bit small for a yank ford. More inclined to think it's a 180cubic inch V6 block.

It's a German Ford.

Cologne V6 engines spanned 1.8 - 4.0 litres
