Triggin' hell!, This Granada has only covered 129 miles from new!, It's never been on the road or registered even! A real shame about the fire damage though

This car was purchased new from Ford in 1973 by my parents who owned a Ford dealership, It has never been registered with DVLA and so has never received a registration or log book, when the dealership was sold the car was stored in a garage and suffered fire damage due to vandalisam

There is a good looking VP Metro on RR that needs saving in a scrapyard

MetroVP1.jpg

This is down the road from me, I've been told its not for sale at the moment as someone (insurance or owner) still have an interest in it, It does look imacculate thoughh and It made me sad to see it there in the yard. There is a yellow Dolomite Sprint off to the right of the photo which is also not for sale its stolen / recovered and no descision has been made. Its been there at least 18 months so they dont seem in hurry to get them shifted.

THIS CAR, HAS NO PAPERS IT IS TOTALLY FOR RESTORATION OR PARTS. IT HAS NO INTERIOR, NO TRIM, PURELY WHAT YOU SEE IT WHAT YOU GET.

IT HAS NO ENGINE, I DO HAVE THE ENGINE AND CAN BE BOUGHT UNDER SEPARATE NEGOTIATION IT IS A MK1 2.4 LITRE AND GEARBOX ALL ATTACHED.

THE DERRINGTON STEERING WHEEL IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE, BUT CAN BE BOUGHT UNDER SEPARATE NEGOTIATION.

EVEN THE RUST IS FAUX, THE BODY OF THE CAR IS REALLY QUITE GOOD.
:D

*Sorry about the thumbnail pic, I am still trying to work out how to do bigger ones.

I don't think we've had this yet, It finishes in 2 hours and is just under £1000, only done 19000 miles from new and looks mint.

Well, thank Gawd THAT's out of geographical temptation range, otherwise Domestic Management would be discussing my rapidly diminishing life expectancy with an imaginative variety of sharp instruments...

I actually emailed the seller for pics of the car when it first appeared on carandclassic a couple of weeks ago. It was a very polite email saying how I used to own one blah blah.... I was genuinely interested, despite it being in the middle of bumf**k nowhere.

Didn't get a response so I thought bollocks to it.

If you look at the bidding pattern, I reckon a mate of the seller has up-bid it....wouldn't be surprised if it appears again, re-advertised due to 'timewaster'.

Here's another seller who thinks their mediocre car is worth a small fortune...

Unfortunately, I have to deal with people like this day in day out at work.....you know, when a full service history is one stamp in the book on a 50,000 mile car.

Ah yes, but look which way the engine is pointing...

That Sceptre looks a treat, although shouldn't it have a vinyl roof? I thought all Sceptre saloons did?

You buy one, you get one free!... These appear to live less then 5 miles from me, The owner is hoping to see them restored but I can't see that happening, the listing is amusing though.

they were parked up outside together out the back of my garden, some arsehole (I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) decided while I was out to use both cars as target practice for his air rifle with his fuckwit son

That 505 is beautiful.

Like a lot of beautiful "looking" things, it is also "high maintenance", Sensei Watty.

Yeah, I can imagine. Like my ex. Fit but shit. No photos available.
