Anyone want to guess what's up with this Renault automatic?

'The fault is it has lost forward drive on the automatic transmission, reverse works fine.'

Never mind, at least this one works...

Crikey, that R9 is lovely, and it's wearing what are probably the best hubcaps of all time, shame one of them has gone AWOL

It newer then what I'm after but I'm sooo sorely tempted by it even just to run it for a few months, I'll be watching it towards the end.

Potential bargains: these all finish sometime on Christmas day.

MG Midget 1500 with 4 months MOT.

Manx Triumph 2000 with no MOT as they don't have them over there but is apparently legal to drive on the mainland.

This one's hardly a bargain at £3000 but it does look very nice indeed.

In the meantime, this one's possibly got Trigger's name all over it:

Finishes on the 22nd, a 1980 Elite with galvi chassis, 12 months MOT and in Suffolk - RNM at a bag.

More of the same in 3 days time!

I hope someone on here has it. It's awesome!

It wasn't me, I bid £600 and then fell asleep on the sofa until 15 mins ago.

That Lotus is nice and local but aren't they a lot of work to maintain plus it's a bit ugly isn't it!.

Seller says he's willing to bring it over to england for the cost of the ferry, and that could be a reasonable drive back to Lincoln... Hmm. Sorely tempted. Anyone know if the seller is actually right when he says that it can be driven legally over here sans MoT?

EDIT: Just looked at the price of the ferry....

I'd imagine as it's I-O-M registered you should* be ok to drive it back but once you register it over here it'd need an MOT.

I don't think I've ever seen a 2000 on Rostyles either - they usually had rostyle-type trims and 5-stud ones at that, so I wonder what these are off?

One of my former colleagues has a 1980 Elite, in red. Yes, it was a world of pain to get right, and it certainly isn't quick, but it's great fun. He gets people coming up to him in petrol stations asking "What is it?"

Have we had this little cutie yet?

waxed oil to prevent rust ... you don't have to do nothing to it for many years

That reminds me, I must remember to wax the oil in the Golf.

That Cav is well fit. Locally registered, probably from the now sadly defunct GBE/Chester Engineering which was swallowed up by Lookers and moved across town.

£1000 sounds steep for this GSA that doesn't look to have moved for a while.

One near me & Triggsy now, and only a bag of sand! Bluebird Turbo ZX

Needs a bit of work here & there, but must be rare now. The sort of car to de-spoiler, shove some 1.8 GSX badges on, tweak it just a smidge, and have one fast 'grandad' car
