Ebay Tat Volume 2 - Sadly deceased.

There's been a few of these Audi V8's up recently but this one looks mega tidy for £1200 although the guy seems to be suffering from ebay fever.

That guy seems to have decent chod up on a regular basis, but his listings are always written in that desparate/slightly threatening manner. The prices go up and down like a yo-yo too, one day it'll be "£1200 AND NOT A PENNY LESS, NO OFFERZ", then the next day the price will have dropped to £1095...

Clapton's old Biturbo looks nice, specially the interior! I'd have to sack that silly numberplate off though. 'Trying too hard'

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1965-MUSTANG- ... 0657126990

WAS PURCHASED ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO BY IAN CURRUTHERS IN SWANAGE (MUSTANG BREAKERS) FOR £1000 FROM A AMERICAN BREAKERS IN BARNSLEY FOR ENGINE/BOX ONLY.

289 MANUAL

HE ENDED UP HAVING THE WHOLE CAR ON THE UNDERSTANDING, HE WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR YARD TO BE CLEAR OF THE SCRAP CARS AROUND/ON TOP OF IT.

4 YEARS WENT PAST, AND THE YARD WAS SHUT DOWN, AND THE CAR HAD SERIOUSLY DETERIATED EVEN MORE.

ON SATURDAY MY TRANSPORT GUY WENT TO COLLECT FROM YARD, AND DRAG ONTO HIS TRANSPORTER, AND BRING BACK TO MY MATES YARD....THIS HAS COST £350 TO COLLECT, SO CAR NOW OWES £1350

Wasn't that BI-TURBOT sprotted in Manchester recently by Wat?

And now an appeal to anyone living in the Newbury area. Crimes against old motors are offering a £3.57p reward to the first person to go round to the person's house who is selling this car and give them the shoeing of a lifetime for putting those wheels on it...

"how cool is that?"

On the scale of 1-10 I'd say about minus three hundred million.

The beige 911 is too dear. That model isn't that desirable, and it's a leftie. There's a turbo-bodied whaletail Carrera of that generation going retail at the place I got my Jaaaaaag from for the same money, and it's a right-hand drive.

Get ready to hit the drifting scene HARD with this monster.

The most amazing thing about this car is someones done 25,000 miles in it. Three seater though.

Ahem. 25,000Kms. About 15,500 miles. Still seems pretty impressive! I quite like that. Unlike most electric cars, it doesn't seem to be trying to resemble the bastard son of a training shoe and a goldfish bowl.

Not he best colour but I think they are a very stylish design. When i raised the point with a wise friend I was told that they could bankrupt any of several european countries with their maintenance costs but what could possibly go wrong? This one seems quite cheap. That might have something to do with it being on the Isle of Sheppey.

Mad as a box o' frogs V6 Alfa/Cinq 'project' is back. Owner emigrating to Canadialand, where presumably he'll not quite build a 454 Chev motored snowmobile...

the idea was to create a fast mid engined machine with Stratos-like handling

Sure about that? You are Bernard Darniche, and I claim my £5...

I really like them, especially the rear end. I saw a very clean red one a year or so back and it looked lovely.

Not wrong at all. They're stunning and ridiculously cheap. Wouldn't fancy changing a cambelt on one mind, but they're very nice to look at, especially considering the steaming pile of merde de chien that followed.

For me it's one of the most beautiful cars from a volume marque of the last 20 years. Shame they switched to those frog mouthed horrors right after

There's it's twin sitting 20 feet away from me on the drive, it's always been driven very rapidly, has covered at least 300,000 miles and only ever needed routine maintenance (apart from the odometer dying). It still looks good, sounds lovely and drives great!

Owned by my friend whose home I'm house sitting, it was the personal car of a Peugeot main dealer MD, and my friend bought it off their forecourt. Knowing how he drives, and the vast miles he covers, I'm astonished at how utterly reliable the car's been!
