Poor kid.  What a ridiculous idea.  What the hell was the council thinking installing a dangerous trip hazard?

It's the usual modus operandi of public authorities now.

Don't crack down on illegal or dangerous behaviour. Just take measures to make it impossible while also inconveniencing the vast majority of law abiding citizens.

The person (s) who agreed to this should be made to pay hefty compensation to that kid out of their own pockets.

Pay to reject cookies - what fuckery is this?

Fuckery because greedy. Open it in a private window or whatever your browser's equivalent is and agree to the cookies. When you close the window the cookies go away.

I keep getting flyers from Slimming World posted through my front door. Have they seen me out and about, thought "he looks like a right fat shit" and tailed me home to find out where I live?

Seen a couple like that recently too I think it was the times newspaper doing the same.

Shows how much your data is useful to them!

It's better than the ones I get for stairlifts, and funeral directors

Hopefully will be ok after a bit. I had a similar scar at the same age and it’s now almost invisible - did take 30 years though.

Despite the horrific traffic because of the m3 closure, yodel have apparently delivered my parcel ( ok, box of wine ) successfully.  I do wonder where, as it’s not here and the photo could be anywhere in the park as all the doors are similar.

Not a very nice lad, it turns out - and all the more close to home as I believe he was/is an AS forum member.

I always buy butter, haven't had any alternative for as long as I can remember.  Cook with butter quite a lot.

But it always, or almost always, needs a quick zap in the microwave to soften it although it is always left out, never in the fridge.

Have had a grandson living with me for a year and to avoid the microwave nonsense I bought "I can't beleeeeve it's not butter" for him.  He is gone now and although I bought half a dozen blocks of butter yesterday, thought I may as well finish off the ICBINB off, and almost new tub.

I was thinking the ham must be off, but then had some earlier in a sandwich with butter,

Disgusterous!  The grease is just 'orrible.

And I don't buy expensive butter, just the FarmFoods Irish stuff.  Read recently that Aldi butter is supposed to be the best and superior to the Danish stuff, may try it next time I need any.

I know this may sound weird.... But it's really getting g on my tits tbh.

Why in the ever fucking moronic planet are we repeatedly shown Speeding Kills adverts all the time (wait for it warriors)

WITHOUT

A equally vociferous message to the gormless fuckwits with an updated Green Cross Code ffs.

Yes - take it easy and be careful behind your death wagon. But can we please have the same shit ton of adverts saying something like - GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR PHONE AND WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING YOU FUCKING SELF ABSORBED BADGER FELCHER!

sorry.... But it isn't just the drivers fault every time

Explanation....

Stupid fat tart, head in phone walks straight onto the road on a fucking roundabout...

Brakes slammed on... Horn blast.

She screamed - You should've not pulled out....

My response - I had every right, it's a pity your dad didn't though.....

She'd have wrecked the car to be fair.... Just HUGE

There was a hilarious clip doing the rounds a while ago about some bint on the phone walking straight into an ornamental pond.

When it went viral, she was moaning about it not being funny.

Oh yes it was 🤣

I'm sick of the speed kills obsession, wreckless driving is far worse epidemic.

As for the pedestrian, I was told the motorist has to rely on sight to avoid an accident were as pedestrians, cyclist etc can both see & hear traffic so has more chance of avoiding accidents.

Bit of a grump today. In to work at 7 to prepare for an BSi audit at 9.  Make sure i get the actual work sent out before the day is overtaken. Phone call at 8.15 saying the auditor was ill and couldn’t make it ( fair enough), could reschedule remotely for today, but we are on 1mb broadband so that doesn’t work. They’ve rescheduled for the 16th.

My grump is that if I had cancelled for illness, we would have to pay the £1100 day fee plus the same again for the rearranged date. They don’t pay anything in compensation for my time.

Not so easy for pedestrians to hear EVs though, especially in noisy towns
