I've been well grumpy for the last three night!, My wife's had dogs all her life so i know it's only to do with leaving his litter and being on his own for the first time but it's still driving me mad!.And the own toilet training thing as well!, He nipped one out on the living room carpet last night the little bugger! So much for being paper trained!

Someone told my wife about that as well, I think i might give it a try, I've also bought a nearly new puppy cage of ebay last night for £10 which I've got to collect in a bit which I'm also going to try.

Kraft announces that it intends to close the Cadbury factory in Shropshire.Am I the only one that saw this coming? What an absolute crock of bollocks. The plant in Bristol will be next, then Bourneville. All those assurances over jobs... They all deserve to have the living shit kicked out of them.

Doesnt suprise me in the slightest. I hate the way we have no industry here anymore - all call centres/finance/service industries. Would much rather see a stonking great steel mill than an office 'park'.

The only people to blame is the Government. France protects its industy from foreign takeover as they know this usually means "streamlining" I.E close everything down and ship it overseas. Why cant the U,K do that? Oh thats right, because the Government are a fifth rate, weak, ineffectual, pathetic bunch of corrupt bastards who serve themselves and the EU before they serve the interests of the British public.

How the fuck can we get ourselves out of the credit crunch and get people back into decent jobs when they constantly allow things like this to happen.

Indeed Tim.I think in France if companies lay people off then they are responsible for their dole money for a certain amount of time, maybe someone 'in the know' can confirm/deny this?Whatever, at least they know how to stand up for themselves whilst we continue to be the fucking poor relations of Europe shipping (literally) job after fucking job abroad somewhere. The future? Looks shite doesn't it? Where have all the 'proper' manafacturing/engineering type jobs gone? Oh look, they've all gone to India/China/where ever and they won't be coming back anytime soon either.Look how many emerging economies (China/Russia/India) have sprung up then look at good old Blighty.we really are fucked and until we get a leader with some real bollocks who starts looking after our interests then we are knackered.Kraft are just another bunch of asset stripping/oder book buying twats and if all the Cadbury employees in Britain eventually lose their jobs I hope those cunts at Kraft go bust in no time.

Shower of shit.I knew they would do this, just thought they'd have the courtesy to leave it a year or so before they started laying the poor workers off.I hope the rich cunts can sleep at night.

Completely agree with your sentiment, but Cadburys were planning on closing that plant down anyway.
I think Tayne's point may have got missed. Capitilism's the problem. Funnily enough, these companies all want to make lots of money - so Cadbury was already planning to close factories and move production away. Now the old bosses walk away rich men while someone American woman takes the flack for their decisions.

Perhaps but it was Kraft who said very recently they would NOT shut that factory. Then what do you know, as soon as the ink has dried the shitehawks pull the plug.

I seem to recal Kraft shut Frys down not that long after they took over , Its the way of the world now , NO job or company is safe unless its undertakers , nursing homes or plumbers

Actually I got the story slightly wrong, it IS the Bristol factory thats going, the Shropshire one is still going but apparently its already looking very bad for it according to KRAFT's grand plan.True, Cadbury were thinking of closing it, but KRAFT gave assurances to the British government and the Cadbury shareholders. "Assurances" of course, mean fuck all.Yes its capitalism, which means theres always winners and losers, but why does the U.K workforce have to be the loser AGAIN?First thing KRAFT did when they took over Cadbury? Take it off the stock market, meaning nobodu else can try a hostile takeover. Cadbury will go the same way as Terrys, just a name on a wrapper. Makes you proud doesnt it?

what we did for nearly 3 weeks was... one of us would stay with the pup at night until it fell asleep the the other one would get up 4/5 hours later and be there in the morning to stop the crying....then just stretch the times out :)

actually undertaking is in decline, more large companies are buiying out the small independant companies and centralising their resources....sound familiar anyone??

BBC3 - Only good thing on this channel is Family Guy. The rest of it I actually feel is detrimental to society, like ITV2 and E4.

Both of these programmes are clearly BOLLOCKS and irritation of the highest order. And they are always on at bedtime. Can't I just listen to radio 4 for a bit?

Snow. Again. We had about 4mm of it last night. Four fugging millimetres! But this was still enough to make my 15-mile journey to the office take an hour and a half. And during that time I saw a Mitsubishi L200 stacked into a tree, a bin lorry which had broadsided on a narrow side street and was completely stuck, two minor collisions and a depressing number of people slithering across junctions with all wheels locked up solid. The last half mile before I hit the Norwich ring road took me 25 minutes. This country (or rather its populace) really is quite pathetic sometimes. :x

Aye. We had a ridiculously light dusting yet the A141 turned into a solid 5 mile queue into Huntingdon. I took to the side roads, which were treacherous and filled with a lot of queue-jumping traffic. However, these were the brave souls and everyone was managing to cope without crashing.

Again, not entirely true. Being Human I thought would be typically lightweight bullshit, but I've found it to be increadably dark and very good.

Oh yeh, Being Human is ace TV, even more so as it has the lovely Lenora Critchlow in it..
