WIN! Managed to speak to a young lady at the Amazon house who informed me that the owner had moved away and effectively abandoned the poor Volvo. She didn't have a number but google has provided me with a new phone number to contact him on.

 

I took some more photos. Its actually an estate but unfortunately the rear windows are smashed and it's quite rotten, not beyond redemption however. Obv, I must contact the owner and see if I can become its new custodian.

 

Also on site is a very overgrown and corroded 480.

Seriously, gumtree is the way forward for selling tat for me now. Over the last couple of weeks, I've sold quite a bit of old stuff, and buyers have just turned up, paid and left. No hassle and no cost to me.

Gumtree only let you sell three cars a year before they decide you're a trader and you have to pay. They're also owned by eBay (so I was told) so whilst most things are free to advertise, it's worth using.

Riding home on bike. Filter through traffic lights to the side of the car at the front. My bike isn't fast but will get to the 40 limit before most cars unless they decide to be an arse and floor it. The jag at front decided he didnt want to be stuck behind a bike so while lights where red drove forward and over line. Lights changed and he pulls off slowly so i go to filter past. I was in a 50 zone on a dual carriageway (roadworks), about to take an exit and a bloke in a van is speeding in the outside lane, he was going to cut in front of me to take the exit but decided he didn't have time so swerved in behind me and sat so close up my arse I could have described in great detail the contents of his nose.
