Cheap EBay oil

Just bought 20 litres of 5w30 for the Mondeo, £33 delivered. Worth having a look for as it makes an oil change cost about £12 including a genuine filter.

Well worth doing if you plan on keeping the same car for a while, or all the fleet use the same stuff. Mannol by any chance?

I got 20 of their fully synth 5/30 for my ford fleet, cost £38, can't help but feel a bit suspicious as it was so cheap but all seem well so far

I managed to pick up 20L of Mannol for £30 delivered a while ago - Ive used it in the C8, Astra and the Honda Lead and all has been well so far ( well the C8 has shat itself, but TADTS)

Yes it’s Mannol. It’s the correct spec, in fact it exceeds what’s required for mine.

It always is. I remember buying the gear oil. You can’t knock their product line.

I always have Fords of one shape or another so a supply of 5w30 fully synth is the spec 90% of them will use.

Good stuff that Mannol oil. All my fleet run it. Disco3 on 5w30 and the carlton on treacle (20w50).

My 2.0hdi has mannol in it now and it's just as rattly and reliable as it should be. 

Needs doing again some time in winter as like a knob I forgot to fit a new oil filter...

When the question of cheap oil comes up, realistically, in the context of older cars with a few miles on them, it's surely more important to change regularly than to buy the most expensive oil. 

Will go and nosey at this stuff now I think...

I was talking to a bloke that runs his own landrover parts shop. He sells mannol oil as it’s good stuff. He did the screwdriver test between mannol and some other cheep similar priced oil. The mannol oil was still stuck to the screwdriver the next morning, the other stuff had ran away.

We use it in the Stock car now, change iet every 3 meetings. Price goes up and down a few quid at times.

We got 40 litres for next to nowt. Ordered  4 pm, delivered 11 am next day!

Laguna V6 that @angle now owns has its AW55 automatic gearbox filled with Mannol ATF. Given its supposed to be expensive pixie and unicorn piss usually which if you get wrong fucks the box in short order, it was a lot cheaper than the Mobil One equivalent and seems to be doing the job just fine.

I bought this a while back, and my car runs better on this than anything else I've used, and I always previously bought "premium" brands. Excellent stuff!

I have been using the Fanfaro oil for the last year which seems fine. I have just bought 20 litres of dexos2, £40 with a free can of flush thrown in.
