M767 PAG has surfaced (one of the known survivors noted on my thread).

@adw1977 spotted it in 2017 when it looked great...

Now it looks almost dead.

I'm out of commission this weekend - could anyone please collect and store for a bit (would need to sort insurance)? Waiting on seller...

Plans are either parts car (need better front seats) or to roffle in short order.

I really think your should be careful who you allow to drive this as it has a top speed of 161 mph!

Not untypical - most car websites e.g. Euro car parts don't really understand what it is. Has 90bhp to achieve that speed too....

I'm not far away in Horsham if that's any good for you?

Thanks @mitsisigma01, do you have any off road space for it? I'm thinking I could probably pick it up in half term (w/c 17/2).

I'll probably be rogered for this suggestion, but that 323 looks way more viable than your Model 67...

The bumpers may well even pop out with gentle and patient use of a heat gun.

I've just been thinking a bit more clearly - I doubt this car will be in huge demand - who else is going to want a damaged 25 year old automatic Mazda?

No response to the Gumtree message, so I will ring him after the school run tomorrow morning, suggest I give him a £50 deposit by bank/PayPal if he can hold it for a bit for me. See what he's like about that.

Storm Ciara is coming this weekend (Nuns, kittens,) so it's not going to be ideal collectioneering weather for anyone.

Anyway, that would give breathing space to work out logistics.

^ Seconded.

The Gumtree message system is utterly hopeless, you would be better off shouting out your kitchen window, call or text is the way to go.

If you can save this, then you really are a hero and probably the owner of the most 323s in the UK...

Unsurprisingly no response to Gumtree message - as noted above that's probably because he's only had '£100' and 'what's your last price m8' so far I expect.

Called this morning, no answer, so voicemail left to keep you in suspense...

Might be able to collect and store at my parents for a bit (they don't know this yet).  It'd involve a dayinsure though as I haven't got cover for driving other cars now.

Only just seen this thread and I am not far from Redhill but wouldn't be able to help now till at least tuesday due to family commitments :-(.
Hopefully not much interest in it due to the damage and he gets back to you.

Thanks chaps no response so far from him, I'll try the text method later on this evening.

I so want to see what a few kettles of hot water and  sink plunger can do to that mazda.

Judging by his apparent lack of awareness of his surroundings, I'd be worried he's walked into a cupboard or something and done himself an injury.

Do you think it's worth contacting the local police to pop round and check he's okay?

Called again this afternoon, still nothing - phone is ringing though - so it's on alright, and the ad is still up there - maybe Craig's post is near the mark!

Will give it another try tomorrow.

Strange this one.

He's probably a Facebookfuckwit that is such a fuckwit he didn't realise he put it on Gumtree and keeps checking his Facebook account and can't workout why he's not got any replies....

Called today, and straight to voicemail this time. Another message sent on Gumtree.

Looks like this one might escape me....arse.
