Cars with bolt on rear wings - rare?

In relation this:

How many other cars have easily removable rear wings? Surely they must be very rare.

I can think of two - a Rover P6 and a Citroen DS. Many others?

You said easily removable so the z4 doesn’t count.

Matra Rancho, sort of - the whole rear outer shell unbolts and lifts off, though not the wings separately.

Meanwhile the rear inner wings are busy removing themselves via oxidation, but that’s definitely not rare.

 

Also, Morris Minor.

And more or less anything pre-monocoque.

Not easily removable as in "quickly-detachable like a DS but theMR2 / Mk3 has bolt-on panels.

I guess a bolt on rear wing / quarter panel is more viable on convertibles because the body design doesn't have to manage that complex and visually important junction with the roof / C-pillar. There often isn't really an inner rear wing either; just the wheel tub with the outer panel visible from inside. Nothing to bolt the panel onto.

Smart cars don’t really have conventional body design, some panels are more like fairings in a motorcycle sense; but if a rear wing can said to be the panel that forms the majority of the wheelarch then they have bolt on rear wings as they are part of the bumper assembly.

Volkswagen Type 3s certainly do, Dad had one hanging in the shed for years.

Also, the FX & FJ Holdens.

Lotus Elise,  I used to work on them,  so easy to work on the car with it removed (clam shell)

All American Ford passenger cars up to the 1949 shoebox Fords did!

Fords over here, I guess the Pilot was the last of the big Fords because I don't think they came off any of the Consuls or Zephyrs. For the small Fords it must have been the 103E Pop because on the 100E shell they were part of the main body.

Trabant... a few self tappers hidden under the trim strips, and some old East German sealant is all that stands between you and a wingless wonder!  Fronts are the same, door skins and roof panel too!  Monocoque body also.

AC/Invacar Model 70, the entire rear body section just unbolts from the chassis :)

Early 911s had bolt on front wings. As per their ancestral VW beetle :)

I Think on my old smart roadster you had to remove the whole back of the car including wings just to change the plugs.

Plus on my Z3 the rear wings are bolt on but they are staying firmly in place and filled up with waxoyl once a year as ignorance is bliss although it does look rust free.

The BMW Z3 is becoming the kitcar fraternity’s new favorite because of the bolt on nature of its outer panels. 

Some really cool looking rebodies out there.
