Looks better underneath than a new car.

I'd not be driving that in the snow.

Not without copious undersealing...........

Good article on the development of that engine in the Rolls Royce enthusiasts magazine.

Thanks for the links. Both go to Bulletin B318 for some reason, Easy enough to change an 8 to a 9 in the address bar of the browser though - about to read the second part now, tea in hand.?

Not one of BL's greatest marketing triumphs.........a bit of an automotive dead end, bit like the Austin 3 litre, although a far more cohesive looking design.........

Looks lovely. That underside is a dream. I find most cars on this forum are massively under described. You read the write up condemning it and expect a total shed, but the pictures afterwards always seem to be of a minter.

Remember an article in practical classics a few years ago about these beasts, picnic tables? Walnut and waft.

Did some bloke go to some effort making a 'kit' for PAS upgrade?

.... or was it for A90/110.

No, standard PAS box, which [typically] is a vastly over complicated box of gears , cams, seals, and other witchcraft, which apparently only three octogenarians in the known universe understand how to rebuild..........same box as in Rover p5, and, as you say, some A90/110 Farinas
