Great stuff Andy! Glad you're back on the move. What was it in the end?

You might have more Stellars than I do, but I still have the edge (just) on cc... :-P

Suspect water in the fuel. It got very grumpy again coming out of The Warwick services but we have discovered it will run at high revs with a feathered throttle. Accident on the M42 persuaded us to go through Solihull in an effort to keep moving. Worked well, kept moving and the roads were quiet. Just on to the M6 toll now.

If I hadn't had a drink it'd be tempting to pop down and have a convoy!

Stick a litre of meths in to soak it up; easier than draining the tank.

On the M6 toll around ten minutes ago...crikey. It'll be a 4am return to base.

I look forward to catching up in the morning! And if baby decides to go FULL AWAKE MODE at 4.15am again like she did this morning (yay sleep regression/teething/farted herself awake) I may even be able to tune in for the landing.

Lancaster Services for toilet and to neck the fuel. It's very grumpy on hills. From here home is not going to be easy

No. It needs better fuel delivery. And better fuel in said delivery.

One I forgot from earlier.

Folk literally queueing for a brick wall at KGX.

Good to see you're back on the road. Hope you can get the fuelling issue sorted without too much trouble.

0246. Border crossing. Suitable weather included.

70mph is achievable on the flat. Hills require backing off to about 55mph.

We have now reached the highest point on the route. Down hill coasting all the way to Glasgow from here.

Tremendous effort both, well done. Glad it got home under its own steam one way or another.

This is why I keep coming back here. Sterling effort chaps.

You’ve done the hardest miles now; it clearly wants to live and hopefully it’s just catching up on ‘prorogued maintenance’ that will see you enjoying a turn key lifestyle.

Well done again.

You brave bastard. Genuinely 11/10 for effort. I've not ever done Scotland and back again in a day.
