Got GB plates on so it may be an adventurous tourist. My Dad drove all over Europe before he got married and I blighted his life. 😛

NuT in the mid sixties, nice Bedford, but what's the estate car near the scooter shop? Something septic is my guess.

There's a lot of Mk1 Tina, C pillar forward. A conversion or a visiting yank?

It's always difficult to tell from such a small, grainy photo but, I think it's a 1965 Rambler Classic station wagon.

Macon, France, late '60's.

But what is this?

Is it one of those very European looking early Mazdas?

Late Chevy Corvair, innit? A leftfield choice in France, certainly.

Slightly off topic - my boss has been to Macon a few times to film at the speedway stadium near the town, if ever I go there I'll try and get a then-and-now pic.

Any other Yank tank of that era would look huge in front of an Ami but the Corvair was quite small by US standards.

Those 2nd gen Corvair saloons are probably in the top ten best-lloking four-door saloons ever built. Absoutely lovely. I had a chance to buy one a few years ago and didn't. Ended up selling for absolute peanuts (£3k iirc). One of my biggest car-buying regrets.

Thanks for the French Corvair ID chaps. Here's three more from a street scene in Helsinki, it might be a trick of the camera foreshortening and squishing up, but what are these three? Apologies if they're bleedin' obvious.

Slightly Renault 4 ish, looks like a FIAT badge, but what is it? Nice HA behind.

The red one is Wartburg ish and the orange one, the estate, is it Japanese? Nice anglebox van in front.

First one is a Fiat 1200. Not sure on the others but the estate looks Opel-ish.

-Fiat 1100

- Not sure, looks like something from behind the Iron Curtain. I was going to say Moskvitch, but that isn't it...

- Opel Kadett B Caravan

@MiniMinorMk3 Well done identifying the Bluebird.  I thought it might be Japanese but my searches did not  come up trumps and it was bugging me 👍.

What is the car in this famous ad?  I can see it's a 1940s Yank of some sort, but can't identify the model.

1952 Dodge (Coronet?) maybe?

Definitely 'one of those' but I think the narrow grille and badge on the prow of the bonnet makes it a '49

Thanks guys.

Next test - found this photo on Facebook, taken in Gran Canaria.  Anyone know what this is?

It is indeed - thank you for that.  Looks to be the same one as in this Twitter post I found while googling it.

I saw this at Sainsburys whilst getting my meal deal.

The badge says ‘Daffodil’ and I’m too lazy to lookup the plate. Any ideas?

Right it's those pesky Finns again, for a country with such a small population they had a very eclectic taste in 4 wheeled bolides.

This is Töölö Sports Hall (then an Exhibition Hall) was built in 1935. The photo was taken in 1954. But what is the green car? Touch of the DS about it but I bet it's a Yank of some description.

Predecessor to the Daf 33, rubber band drive. Not seen it before, which Sainsburys?
