Sorry to hear that it's not performing quite as it did from the factory.

210,000 miles and 25 years will do that....

Fuck it, a few more cans of matt black from the pound show evens it out a bit.

Yes, it looks silly, but littleun is having fun, and it's funny seeing the looks of disgust from fellow motorists.

There was a pug 406 saloon down the road last week which had a similar vibe, wish I’d taken a pic of it now!

Everytime you drive past a skip or some junk left at side of road just pick it up and chuck it on that roof rack. Be fun to see how much random crap you can collect and if it increases people's horror.

Go full family Clampett on it!!

I think it’d look better if it had some half finished repairs done to it. Like an arch in red oxide or zinc primer.

Maybe put some of the money for paint into an exhaust repair bandage and grease for the brake caliper sliders.

At a quid per tin, it's hardly broken the bank, and it keeps littlun amused.

It's not so much fun an activity for a 7 year old: 'Come on, let's grease the calipers' :D

Plus I've already got gun gum and copper grease in the drawer. Will save that for a weekend he's not here :)

I quite like it! Although the roof rack looks out of place to Me, until it gets filled with crap!

I think that’s a great project to do with your kids. Proper memorable stuff that is as well!

An old shovel complete with rust and potentially woodworm from the car boot sale adds to the look...

Car boot sale was crap though.

It needs a proper* sun visor attached to the roof, it must have rivets too.

Leigh station? I stopped going because the only thing I ever spent money on was the 50p to get in. Just full of baby clothes and modern tat.

No, Sadlers farm. Apparently it was packed yesterday, but today was half full and just crap. Only one lot of diecasts and it was all cheap Chinese modern crap.

Yeah, I've been to Sadlers on a Sunday before and that was crap too. It's been going on Saturdays forever, and everyone goes then it seems.

Your lad will never forget doing this…….. he may WANT TO - but won't ever cleanse his mind of this - FACT :-D  and he'll thank you  for it.

Can you find guttering of any kind for the obviously missing snorkel that is required?

I work for a roofing company, so that shouldn't be difficult :D

Please tell me you drive this everywhere whilst wearing a Sunday best suit, tie and brown brogues as if everything is normal.

That really screws with people. Once got pulled in Leeds in my mk1 Shogun as it was registered down south 200 miles away (I was up here on work), not sure what the copper really knew what to do with a guy in full business suit driving a battered but road legal shed, checked it all out and waved me along looking puzzled AF.

Please put the number plate back where it’s supposed to be

Nothing else bothers me about this.

Have the neighbours organised a petition for its removal yet?

Not yet, I need to try harder.

Annoyingly, it needs to move due to the next 'enhancement'

Going to research legality of having it on the roof rack.... :D

I usually dress pretty smart tbh.
