Odd when people provide so much biographical information onto the open Internet.

So the circumstances of the owner are known to all.

My travels round the internet show it is rife with grifters.

There would have been another way of doing this.

Hey ho.

Solid looking Trummy 1300, looking like its emerged from a garage after a 30 year slumber. Marked as missing VIN & a non opening bonnet  (but they always put no VIN when the bonnet doesn't open to cover themselves), + listed as not having keys, unconfirmed run or drive (assume its needs at least the fuel & ignition system cleaned up before it`ll run) & unable to open boot (may contain gold bars).

Horrific colour, on the outside at least (same vomit green as my Mk3 Cortina), but still..

Currently at £175, with almost a week to run

Dear me, what a load of fucking drivel.

Reminds me of a comment made in Wales online previously after a car was found crashed into the river Tawe and the body's not discovered for a number of hours.

Didn't take long for footage to emerge of the driver getting into it pissed at 3am and being the main cause, too much speed and under the influence.

They were driving a mini JCW thing which yes are a nippy little car but one bloke put up a comment to a reply "look em up butt, they're the fastest cars on the road, look at the insurance quotes on them, they can 200mph" 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄.

I’m sure a Mini JCW is good for 200mph. I knew someone with a 1.4 Astra that could do 150!

I had one of those, bought it from Dunstable Bike Breakers for 100 quid, rebuilt the engine with my dads help and rode it for a bit before I got a 125LC. It was slow and heavy but very enjoyable, as per a lot of hondas of that age, it just seemed to add up to more than the sum of its parts.

Having said theat, the 125LC was like a bloody rocket in comparison

My first bike was a red one,  great to ride.

My mate saw this one in London last week and was smitten:

Is that the City, or Roupell Street sort of way?

Hey ho.

I've not clicked the link as I don't do FB but the bit @IronStar posted looks sensible to me as an explanation of why it's been sat for a year and why the owner hasn't listed it themselves.

Never really quite 'got' these bikes (no offence if you own one) tbh.

My mates mad about them. Only the ones with the rounded fins on the heads though. Borrowed one for a bit was a lovely thing to purr about on.

Must have come from Chester when new.  Remember when Michelin ZX radials were everywhere?

Got a set on the Cresta!

I had the exact same.

It cost me a pint of Stella.

Sold it for £50 a year later.

Honestly, it probably is a grand+ plate. (he`s actually advertising it for £1340 on its own at the moment).
