Is it not the law or something that we tad @eddyramrod whenever we post a Bedford commercial?
I mean, you could bolt an old Lunar caravan to that tipper bed and hey presto - instant camper.

The best chip shop in Filey is Ingham's, I've proved it in scientific* tests

Easy to get out of bed too. Like those old person chairs that tip forwards to help you stand up

The best thing about that TT is that you could get it onto a beach, then drive full tilt straight into the sea where it belongs.

What, like this?

You know what?  I would actually keep it as a tipper.  I like the idea of a preserved commercial.  But that one appears to have a diesel engine so it's no competition for the Cheffyns camper.

Yes they did.  I remember in a previous life having both the DAF 75 and Foden Alpha as demonstrators at 18 tonnes.  If it had been left to me I expect I would have ordered the DAF.

I had to check the reg on that daf tractor unit.  The one I spent 5 years driving was also an S reg and looked identical.

Daf 85s and 95s seemed incredibly popular as exports. I used to see loads of stripped down examples on flatbeds on the A12 heading to Harwich. Often three or four cabs back to back or face to face, and the chassis stacked four deep, minus wheels. This would have been 15 years or so back.

These seemed to be everywhere at one point. Didn't Paccar(?) own them at one point and do a Foden version?

As an current employee of PACCAR, via DAF and working at Leyland Trucks, I am pretty sure we have ex Foden employees who were TUPED over years ago.

Leyland Trucks designs the smaller Trucks, DAF in Eindhoven Design the bigger ones.

We make all RHD for Europe of all Trucks plus lots of specials for "specialists" including coach builders and refuse wagons.

What a drag it is, the shape it's in
Well, the water goes in somewhere, then  it fucks off again
I light a cigarette 'cause I can't get no brakes
There's nothing in the coolant tank nothing on the radio
That means that much to me
