Doesn't look like a genuine S as they had aluminium side trims, like an Austin 1300GT but bigger, and simply removing them would leave a line of clips or holes the whole length of the car. Mine had the optional power steering too which meant I could fit a much smaller steering wheel from a Maxi HL which improved chuckability no end.

Great fun cars that would surprise a lot of other road users.

I really like that. Unusual Alfa based kit with mid mounted flat four. Might end up going cheap* because nobody knows what it is. I'm sure it has issues but there's a lot going for it.
