I would have to disagree. I remember those reflective black and silver plates as a kid and they always fascinated me (didn't take much, I know). They were never common but are definitely period which cheap stamped aluminium ones certainly wouldn't be.

Fucking hats off to the fella. I went to Malpas (about 12 miles away) in a Transit 2.4 once, and it felt like a 4 month adventure.

 

Can't be much room left inside with that massive cactus growing out the roof.

Yes if it was an estate. And wasn't white, diesel and left hand drive. But I'll admit that interior is glorious, you could sit there all day. I still don't know how black or grey leather has come to be considered luxury when you could have this.

For anyone craving for a manual RWD V8 BMW Touring after seeing the collection of mine, here's another E39 540i giving you just that!

No mot unfortunately but a few less miles and generally better bodywork on this one. Has flywheel issues so needs that sorting as well. A real bonus though: Double glazing!
