Covered about 2k miles in the past 10 years or so. Still religiously MOTd and I dare say serviced as well every year probably 

Probably sod all wrong with it, something you can hop in and use. Presumably given up driving or deceased owner, at least the family have seen sense to offer it for sale than waste it by scrapping it. 

Probably at risk of being engine-raped and/or ovaled though 

Be the 2l zetec blacktop won't it? Engine probably worth that if not more by itself
