Surprisingly, I know of four of those near where I live. 3 are Swedish registered, the other German.

Odd things, no appeal to me. Devon Bloodbikers have one for some reason I cannot fathom.

Looks like a bizarre funeral carriage that's actually cremating itself as it goes.

Am I right in remembering there were 'van rouge' and 'van blanc' special editions of the c15?

Yes.

This thing was destined to be an AutoShite from the day it was born. I love seeing cars that have ripened into their ultimate form in circumstance.

Yes, depending on which was spilt in the back during vigourous cornering

I hope so because that is where I am going when I die. 😁

You'll be OK until you get there.

About 10 years ago I bought a used pc at a boot sale,  some pictures on it taken at a care home

Doris and Ethel eating their tea, Doris and Ethel bent over a desk, delete delete delete, unfortunately they're etched on the back of my eyeballs

Are MG Magnettes still a bit of a bargain? A ZB for £7k seems entirely reasonable in today's market. Lovely looking things, I almost see hints of Lancia in the styling. Personally more desirable to me than 60's super saloons like Jag Mk2 or P6. Do they have crash gearboxes?

If that really does says 'humours fucked' on the back of that Mercedes then they've clearly found it again asking £350 for the Micra

Usual BMC gearbox with no synchro on first.  Not really a problem, unless it has been abused.

Gerald Palmer  the designer was already known for some great designs when he penned this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Palmer_(car_designer)

Some do say there is a Lancia design influence.

Saw on of these at the top of the Col de Telegraphe last May.

The rider was clearly a man of taste and discernment because he hopped off, ignoring his travel companions, and went straight over to admire the Dyane and my mate's disreputable CX Safari.

Yup. That must have been an early age related plate without a non-transferable marker on it.

Maybe it was a replacement for the original two number, two letter, two number RAF plate?

I don't know what their rep is like, but that trader turns over stock at quite an impressive rate. Their motors are always photographed in that same spot.

As for Magnettes, weren't they more desirable in the 80s and values have since waned?

What was the plate?
