She was just an innocent lady who happens to live at the address the fake seller is giving out. 
When I was speaking to her, we think the idea is people from further afield would be sending deposits to him to “secure” the car. It’s local folks who just went to see if it was real first that turned up and rang her doorbell.

It's also possible, he's just collecting names, numbers, eBay handles etc. Of people he may want to target in future.

Either way, it's worth a gamble sometimes but be careful in future if your number or email are out there.

Mmmm, don't really like the S2, but it's a VSX trim (which isn't too bad), it's a KV plate (geek points for a Citroen from the late 90s), got CCC sticker and OEM mudflaps so makes the right noises.

Go for it. Not me, but someone else....get it done!

Definitely a great parts donor for someone planning a manual conversion. Even with that being the case though I'm surprised that this will sell for close to a grand. I guess the cavalier alloys and maybe car are worth a good chunk, too?
