That's been up for sale for ages with slightly shitter pictures at £3990 (iirc). This guy bought it for £800ish and has given it a wash and basic recommission (I don't know what he's actually done, and maybe it's now running beautifully, but he's not got £3k invested in it that's for sure). I think it's probably worth about £2000, and I suspect some dodgy bidding going on here judging by the person with a feedback rating of 3 having 10 individual bids on it. Then again, maybe not, people are weird and sometimes bidding goes nuts on something even though it's been for sale for ever.

Here it was in April 2021, when I did have half a mind to buy it...

Would a Mk3 Ghia have had rear headrests?  I'm wondering whether it's had Mk4 seats fitted.

Definitely  no rear headrests and all are out of a newer car but seats could be correct, pity there are no interior pictures, rears were often ‘fitted’ by poking holes through the seats! Dove grey is a rare colour too on a Ghia. It shouldn’t have those wheel trims either.

Good old KGF.  I had one of those years ago, paid £300 for it if memory serves.  It wasn't quite as low mileage as that one admittedly.

Definitely agree, should have the front headrests with centre pads, no rears and wheels should have chrome trim rings and centre caps. Not sure the Escort badge is correct either? And maybe should have front over riders? Love the colour though, always liked Dove grey.

The saloon has a better amount of doors IMO. :)

That's my old car, I bought it in 2001 off the son of the original owner.. Had 27k then and gave it to my mum to use.. That mileage is genuine. My mum became ill and I parked it up as it needed welding. I eventually got the welding done and then last year my mum passed away and I never finished it. I needed it gone so sold it to a young lad. Those pics are from when he picked it up.. It would make a really nice car.. Had two new genuine wings fitted when I got it.. I hope it finds a good home.. If anyone wants any info let me know.. I still have loads of spares for it on the shed too..

Is that £320 so you can see different parts of the car in instalments of what?

Huge potential here for a new AS collective to be formed and pick this up. I’m happy to help collect and fund repairs, but am keen that someone else takes the lead a bit.

Let’s not muck about eh? Good opportunity this.

Thanks old chap, it looks like the fellow is thinking of passing it on within that forum, but I've made a topic on here and if there's support for your plan we could approach him.
