Uno turbo. I'd forgotten about the dash on them.

Honest advert, the bonnet is open in every photo.

One from the Not cheap but very shiny collection.

Is the twin turbo version called the Duo Turbo?

That rear plate is a work of art.  What an absolutely glorious, shonky old thing.  Is there a way of stopping the rust spreading without making it look ugly? I know Vactan is good but everything goes black.

The car is fitted with a fantastic set (5) of Mexican hat alloys

Never knew they were called that.

My dad drove a 190E Taxi that was a D plate.

It was the only beige one on the fleet and nobody liked it. Poor thing.

That is rather splendid - 87 on a D eh?

If what he says about the paint is true, then it could be difficult getting a nice match once you've done the remedials.  Unless the VIN actually matches what the car is wearing - in which case NO DRAMA.

I think it's really nice.  Sadly, the ones I really really like are now £ProperMoney but there's something quite beguiling about it.

This looks a bargain for someone:

So, why is this 1987 Merc ULEZ exempt then?

I've never driven, or even sat in one of these but I have always thought that the steering wheel looked far too small in these. Just me?

Yep, just you. ?

Steering wheel is normal sized
