1978 Leyland Redline. I remember these as FGs from as spell in the the early 80's when I worked for a Leyland Commercial dealer, even then they were very crude with unbelievable vibration . They used to deliver about 90% of the loaves of Mothers Pride or so it seemed.

Never seen a speedo with major units n5 before. IIRC US speed limits are often in that format however (i.e. 25 mph, 35 mph).

Bonny early mk3 Fiesta Popular Plus, £500 start.

When I was a student, a Ford marketing guy brought a pre-production F-reg one of these along as he took us through a case study of product launch strategy.

A couple of years previously I’d have burst with excitement at seeing a pre-launch car up close in the metal.

As it was, the course was interesting but the Fiesta was pretty ho-hum and made me think the motor industry in the 90s was going to be rather bland, cynical and appliance-y.

Sadly I wasn’t wrong.

A lad I was at school with - his mother had an F reg mk3 in blue - Base AF so it was.

Anyway - we've got a wheel for one of these if anyone wants it!!!

It's just you. You see those 3 dots under the time. Click on themScreenshot_20200609-192645_Chrome.thumb.jpg.41dd131db30fcb8e12de3cfcbbfbbb3d.jpg

Screenshot_20200609-192651_Chrome.thumb.jpg.1866de5d28a094adf6ab5a7b142043dc.jpg

Then click on Share.

Then click on copy to clip board.

Then move to autoshite. And paste. Simpler.

Must be a mobile phone thing, as no three dots at the top. There is a share tab, but none of  the places to share to simply copy the link.

Looks like doing screenshots is the only way to put the cars up here. Bugger

My phone was like that for ages, did a re start or update and it worked.

Omly now, when I open a Facebook listing it sort of freezes, I can still scroll up and down but can't open the pictures or look at sellers profile or other adverts... Any ideas please

Oooohhh, that’s a sexy animal.  The Aerodeck is more quirky and historically interesting, but the saloon is really sleek, classy and handsome. Would.

Needs a bit of fettling but 100% Do Not Paint. Or change the wheels, or anything.

That's another car 20 years ago everyone thought was dog shit and you could pick them up for 1-2 grand in working order.

They seem to be getting a following now though.

A proper low-miles Crown Vic. No half-arsed, worn out, cop wanna-be nonsense here, just proper wafty-waft, throbby-throb, 1600RPM @ legal limit wantness.  Only down-side is no split-bench front seat.

I've always had a bit of soft spot for these despite not particularly liking Beetles or clicking with either the 924 or 944 I've owned. Until a couple of years ago one appeared every year at Christmas at a house near me with Rome plates on. A pretty hardcore trip to visit the relatives!
