Shall I bid £5 Or £10 max ?

I'd go £"7.77, just as a compromise like.

I shall. If I win I'll roffle it for £1.77 a ticket, with profits to a homeless charity.

Drove past this tonight.  Quick U-turn to take a pic for you guys.  In a garage forecourt in Fleet, Hampshire:  Don't see it online.  1 yr MOT:

Yeah, I researched the gear stick. Take battery out and disassemble the selector and grease it generously is the solution.

The MOT history has me slightly concerned though. Various advisories in the very recent MOT for bushes and suspension components, corrosion on the underside of the body, and fuel lines. Plus cracked tyres and worn/pitted brakes all round. Probably be a good couple of hundred quid on top to get all that sorted. Plus, you'd still have air con that doesn't blow cold and an annoying blinking odometer.

Suspension bushes are service items on that era of Alfa to be fair.

I'm out. I went up to £10 in small increments and was unable to become the highest bidder.

£2k for a 505 GTI with a new test is pretty decent, no? Crap pictures and Cornwall though.

That’s not Cornwall, that’s Cambridgeshire — the other St Ives.

Ooft. Would. Pity it’s such a crap listing with almost zero information and two useless photos though.

That yankee escort wagon is the stuff of dreams, what a miserable old heap. It looks like it needs someone to tell it to 'STAND UP STRAIGHT MAN!!!!' Imagine driving that to your job (driving a floor cleaning machine in an out-of-town Wal-mart storage warehouse facility). Fantastic!!!

Ooh. Not cheap, but an early, proper RHD one.

Given my recent attempts to try to get in just about any white Kia Picanto, other than my own, in supermarket car parks perhaps I should buy this. When your car looks like a mushy pea it would be difficult to mistake it for another

Those US-spec Escorts were quite sought after at one stage due to the 1.9 CVH block being a useful upgrade for XR3s etc.

Yes, exactly.  It's even in their company colours.  But I've no idea if they are a respectable bunch or not.

That yankee Escort is astounding. I can't see that going for much either.

If I end up winning it, I'm going to exile myself from the forum.

What could be better than a Mitsubishi Evo if you're looking for a high performance Japanese sports car?

A high performance Japanese sports car that can fit all of your things!

I present the Mitsubishi RVR X3: https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=2663764605

It's like a Mitsubishi Evo IV but in a people mover bodyshell.

As far as I am concerned these are dream shite, rocking horse poo, whatever unobtainable euphemisms you choose to use. And I'm still trying to do the sums in my head to make it worthwhile.

Especially seeing as this one is in such unmolested condition. Apparently it even includes the original bumper.

Tell me why I shouldn't buy this?
