Jesus! Is anyone on here anywhere near Barnstaple who could potentially collect and store that? It looks flippin' amazing and I'd be seriously interested, but no chance of getting down there for a while...

I have had a Crown Vic hire car once - must have been 2013 and the last one left on the hire fleet.  Agree with all Skizzer's comments.  Objectively they are crap but there is something about them.

Plus, they have a glow in the dark trunk release handle inside the trunk in case you get kidnapped.

I'm genuinely not making that up.

You aren't reading between the lines they are truly manky pieces of worthless crap.

? Remember which forum you're on!

The fact that they are shit, floaty, wobbly, cheap et al, makes them so much more appealing!

I did get all excited at a Maxi within a day's trek - especially with a C*NT number plate....

But then I looked at the under bonnet pictures - who needs inner wing?

I think they're just leaves on the driver's side, passenger's side doesn't look to bad.

Just leaves and no metal? :)

And floor? Who needs a floor?

A proper low-miles Crown Vic. No half-arsed, worn out, cop wanna-be nonsense here, just proper wafty-waft, throbby-throb, 1600RPM @ legal limit wantness.  Only down-side is no split-bench front seat.

SWMBO has told me we need an automatic 4 door. I have opened her wine bottle......

Love the 1930's V8 logo!

what a lovely barge! :)

a crown vic is very much on the want to get at some point in life list

that one is a very interesting example, I cant imagine many where sold "privately" like that rather then to fleet buyers etc

also very interestingly it looks to have been a UK car since day 1, USAF import or something such I wonder? originally wore the VRM, EU53NLA before someone stuck the personal plate on it (and has 9 total keepers for those wondering)

wonder what would happen if you turned up to a random Ford dealer with it LOL

Yes that definitely says Fiona , if you're off your tits on special brew

I'm amazed people pay for plates that sort of make up a word , I have some friends, hadn't seen them for a bit, they had an 11 plate fiesta , they still had an 11 plate fiesta , she said to me do you like the private plate , I got it for John's birthday

I looked at it baffled , sorry sheila I don't see it

I really didn't know what to say, the most discrete private plate I've ever seen

If you really want a laugh have a look at some of the bollox you get on the 'personalised' number plate sites e.g. https://absolutereg.co.uk/search?term=fiona&type=super F11 NAF? 'Only' £815 + vat ??? I/she's want a whole car for that much.

Back to topic - XM anybody? Norfolk way. £850 0r offers, no MoT. Some nice looking other stuff in the background of the other pictures too (and modern shite)

About the same time I sold my xr4x4 for 650 quid. 25 years ago.

A lot has been Barried, blown up, crashed or rotted out since then.

Rarity and rose tinted specs build value.

That's Wolsey House Motors. Dan Pearcey is custodian of a massive strategic reserve of CXs there. 40-odd S1s and S2s at its peak.

The  exact specification of Audi A6 I have been looking for for quite a while has popped on Ebay. Pre-fl C5 2.8 V6 Quattro sedan with a manual and a decent exterior color, even in sport trim, for a very good price. It might look like just another A6 but these are incredibly rare now. I want it badly. 600 quid obo

Could probably get an import for less or about that kind of money and it would almost certainly be in better shape (and have the funky JDM taillights).
