Obviously nigh on £7k is mental (especially without the plate) but just look at it.....

Very different to Monsieur Opron's previous design works, although it is possible to see suggestions of his past in the Fuego.

That's been in my watchlist for a few days.
I won the auction and I'm hoping to pick it up this week.

Nice work!  Looks like you got a good deal there too.

Be like @Lord Sterling @RoadworkUK in a fetching biege, Currently £435, in Coventry, no reserve

Beige with red piping and carpets is a pretty strong look! I've always thought it would be pretty fly to have a suit made up to match mine, in beige with blue piping. Set of nice blue espadrilles and that would be quite the ensemble.

Re the above motor, I'm guessing it's a boggo 820i which would originally have had placca trimz, hence it's been 'upgraded' with a set of alloy rimz that are about five years older than the car. Also, I read the "original cambelt" bit and was about to sound the apocalypse klaxon, but it's only a tool eater and and those are a piece of piss to get belted up. Verdict: If you want a Rover 800, that is one.

You know what they say about buses? Well here's a 3rd one, probably my favourite, and predictably the most expensive. £1347 so far. Some natter about having rebuilt carbs, but aren't they fule injection? I'm probably wrong.

Oooof!!

Yep, for all that £££ you could be me + enjoying the added pizazz of 'keep fit' windows.

I think I may be custodian of an Appreciating Asset ;)

EDIT .... Kill for that factory 'tool roll'  ?

Do you need one of those tool holders then? I have one or two spare in black, big enough for wheelbrace etc.

Budget in for a new chassis £1500 ish for someone to do it. It’s been a false economy to do any chassis welding for decades now, far cheaper to bite the bullet and swap the chassis.  And hope they haven’t been driving round in this weather with the grill muff on.

Given its current state I think it’s far too expensive.

RE the grill muff - do their air cooled engines get some sort of thermal fatigue or something?

I just read this advert and now i have a brain tumour.

That's like advice telling people not to look but they do anyway.

I got half way down and had to stop to avoid a similar fate.

I think I got away with just a headache.

Get well soon.

Nice! 820 was the ace of base with the 8v carb’d four pot. Must be fucking slow with the auto box!

They can run hot and partially seize, especially if the timing is slightly off and running lean. The main problem is the reduced airflow over the oil cooler.

Hail, good fellow :)

I just feel a 'black vinyl bag' containing Toyota lug spanner + jack spinner rod would be making a 'factory' Full Set. I have a set of Chink items, bought from Fleebay, so the car needs nowt  ;)

I have a 'netting boot bag', blagged from some millenial, so could secure in position if need be....

Given it's also in a classified at £7700, I'm hopeful* I've not got some explaining to do to Mrs BMH.
