I had a loan of a mr2 turbo rev 1 and thought that was a brilliant motor but big balls required for wet weather.

Not just the turbos. I had a Mk2 MR2 GT T-Bar which I managed to spin on a wet road whilst going in a straight line. Fortunately the road was wide, it was late at night and the car spun on its axis, ending up pointing in the direction I'd just come from without hitting anything else. This was a facelift model with the "tamed" rear suspension. The early Mk2s must have been really brown trouser to drive.

Use of the word stealth, in this context, makes me want to shout the word RAPIST!

Never mind the fact they’re hanging out in an Escort

Fuck me, that must be the last unmodified s13 ever!

Makes it an absolutely perfect platform for modifying.

That's an early one, too. My S12 was on a G-Plate, though that was late for what it was.

Speaking of 1.4 suitcase engines, this isn’t cheap but it’s bang tidy and I bet it’s bags (geddit?) of fun.

Or for £400 less than that AX GT you could have a twin turbo V12 with 500bhp.  What a time to be alive.

Seller has no feedback though.  Hmm.

I'd love a 3 dr AX GT. I had a 1.0 AX years ago and it was fun to drive (HGF in the end). A lad I once worked with had a green special edition version... think it was possibly GT500? Can't remember...

Hmm, that looks very straight. I bet it's tidy underneath as well. Chances are that engine will live again with diesel/plus gas etc - assumimng it wasn't laid up at four years old with a siezed engine!

90,000miles in four years is quite a lot for a 1.4 petrol.

It really looks fantastic though. With a working engine that's got to be as close to a 'new' BX you could find in this country. The interior is so clean! I wish it wasn't so far away/I had some money/skills etc etc. A 1.4 BX is top of my wants list.

this is broken, has no test and needs the suspension pumping up/replacing and the seller thinks its worth £1250.

yes, good luck with that.

and i'm the one person who actually likes the Ambassador!

Might consider selling our clove brown one if that is what a fucked one goes for.

Another Ambassador fan here, so with me, you and John Shuttleworth is most of the fan base.

It looks clean and is a nice bright colour and a good spec, TBH I don't think £1250 is such an obscene sum overall!

Please study the photos using the zoom in facility as these will confirm the overall condition of the car and are part of the description and will give you an excellent idea of what to expect should you wish to purchase the car.

Thanks for those handy instructions on what to do with the friggin pictures, I am sure any buyers wondering what the car looks like will feel much better once they have digested this crucial information.
