I dunno. I bet it doesn't appeal to many prospective buyers though, and doesn't increase its sale value either. How much do you think was spaffed to get all that kwality artwork done?

Theres a local firm who have obviously (from the style of his work) employed someone who used to work on the showgrounds painting the murals on rides to paint their wagons - his speciality seems scantily clad ladies, they're quite good to be fair and I always look forwards to seeing them :)

As said probably doesn't enhance resale value but it does get them noticed.

Absolutely fine, if its from a pre '79 cortina or something it will just be a visual check, it goes on whichever is older the car or engine.

Personally I would have put a Zetec in but i guess they had a pinto handy.

Really?  I thought it was always the year of the vehicle, not the engine.

Transit camper - looks nice but needs a sh*tload of welding.  Also appears to have been trimmed out entirely in 1990s coach seat material.

Nope definitely the engine, you would be sensible to take proof of age with you if the tester isn't used to the vehicle though.

You'd need to remember every time that you were a foot longer than the bonnet line pulling up. Also is this legal as a mod'?

I had a Super Snipe once. It was the only car I've had that people regularly came over to talk about their  dad/uncle/family once had. These were beautifully crafted inside. Rust though like all Rootes of the era. I found the owners club very 'old fashioned'.

I am no mechanic. What happened was, I was coming back from a nice run out in countryside, and following this van, there was an opportunity to overtake up a steep hill, I pulled out and normally the car would pass easily, however it didn't pick up

I bet if you went around to look at this you would be there for ages as he tells you about when his Aunt Maggie nearly got attacked by a Duck and what not.
