Was bidding on the y reg escort in Arbroath - it was at 520 with ten mind to go so I thought I'd stick a 650 bid on... Someone's just slapped a 1000 bid on it though so that's that. Shame !

The springs have been cut by one coil, for a lowered look, this has no affect on the drive, it handles better in my opinion.

 

So it has no effect on the drive, but somehow affects the handling? Weird. Does it "start working" in a corner? Fascinating!

 

I've read that they have no problems on various websites.

 

Sadly, I don't think VAG, GM, Toyota etc cite "pistonheads.com" as a reputable source of information in their research papers.
