This must have been pretty much top of the range back in the day. It's a real shame it's so far gone. IIRC, those stripes along the bottom indicated it was one of the last Cortinas as I don't think they were on earlier Mk5s.

All ghias got the triple coach line,that would've been expensive when new as it's got quite a few optional extras. 

That will be hard/expensive to replace, sunroofs have been unobtanium since the 90's, spots same as escorts £££££, overriders hard to find, especially washer jet ones.

Will cost way more than it'll ever be worth to restore,parts car unfortunately.

I agree, it’s beyond saving, economically but I  agree with @Shite Ron, the stripes were later and not standard from the start of the Mk5 from their beginning

WTF is going on here? Listed as a GT500, but it's a 4 stroke with 4 cylinders and a Higgspeed exhaust, and they only seem to make 2T pipes.  Plus the side panels (and the whole bike) appear to be a GS550.

A Suzuki GT500.

Looks to be a similar background to the picture of the GS550.

At a guess the person got their pictures mixed up and has corrected the mistake.

I had a GS750DB, toured quite a bit of Europe on it, till it was stolen in Edinburgh.

No reserve and low price atm. Seller seems reliable too. These used to make a lot - have values also gone down or maybe they are less fashionable than they were?
