I did a test drive event with them ( I went in the x1/9).  Still have the freebee beach towel saying “reassuringly German”. I drove the 2 litre I think.

Ah memories of travelling to Birmingham airport with my mom and brother to fly to Malaga at 1 in the morning (would have been around 1998)- and the driver nodding off before being woken up by the rumble strips of the M6

I like that. Although it's thirsty it is pre-2001 so you won't get bum raped on tax. And it has back seats suitable for human people. I bet it's a Really Useful Engine. 

Twin cam is a decent donk with sensible electronic control but not OMGTOOCOMPLEX

Nope, I rather liked our two door one - still have it if sprog had not procreated and found it very tricky to get baby into back seats.
