'i bought this like this for a scally rally'

No idea what a 'scally rally' is, but if it involves an overseas crossing, I hope the fucking rolls off the boat mid-way across the channel.

scally (at least in Torbay where a lot of them used to flock down to overwinter in B&B and Wetherspoons) is a derogatory term for a Scouser.

Quite where you'd rally to from Liverpool I have no idea? Birkenhead?

Scrolling up the page (yeah, I know, weird) I thought you'd added in the nudge bar and side steps/sliders. Then I see you didn't. Wow. I mean why?

The scallies come up from Bootle on miseryrail's northern line to Freshfield on a Bank Holiday, walk down Victoria Road past all the houses with more security than Ashworth High Security NHS "prison", throw unsuitable food to the none existent red squirrels before spending the day of the beach, behaving in a manner not becoming of gentlemen. As night goes down they set fire to the rubbish bins to keep warm and end up stabbing each other or falling into a still hot bbq, before getting the train home, as the cars they want to joy ride are locked behind a 10 foot high wall with dogs roaming the grounds.

Have I stereotyped them well enough.

Other bank holiday destinations are available to them. New Brighton, West Kirkby, Southport, Ainsdale, Waterloo.

In fairness, the mods already made to it seem 'tasteful' and subtle. E.g. halogen spotlights instead of some daft LED bar which would be out of place. Actually looks pretty cool imho.

If you want to turn up next year at a car show with a rare car that nobody has ever seen before, then this is the car for you to stun people at next years Classic Car Shows who wont have ever seen one of these before as this model was not available in the UK.

Starts instantly and drives very well, so it’s a real Drive away and use it as is if you want to.

Dashboard looks like it was designed by Buck Rogers with all its gadgets. Originally purchased in Saudi Arabia, imported and used in the UK from 1986 then dry stored for 24 years, until recently recommissioned with some professional welding carried out, serviced.

Car will be sold as seen and you are not buying a pristine car, but a very rare car, that drives just as it should and can either go to a show as is, or have the sides re spayed to make it look nicer.

Has No dents and the paint on the bonnet boot and roof is very good. Electric windows front and rear. Down sides, drivers seat rip on the side with the rest of interior in very good condition. Fuel Gauge not working, and the battery has a drain if the car is left with the battery connected.

Has a temporary mirror glass passenger side. Car has Power Steering and Air Con but that will need re-gassing. Drive away, and you will never see or find another here in the UK.

With just 2 previous Owners with 73000 miles on the spedo (in Kilometres) Collection from Kent but will ship abroad at buyers expense. Mot has recently run out but it has only driven 8 miles since the last one, then stored again.

(Worth knowing for Rotary engine enthusiasts that this shape 929 was also called a Cosmo with a 12A Rotary fitted, so could easily be converted into a Rotary Cosmo)
