I didn't think it was possible to make a Pluriel any less appealing. Screenshot_20240824_175625_eBay.jpg.944c60e9dca991e8198afbd4e4b98255.jpg

I was wrong.

£3000 Havant (which is equally attractive). Was the Charleston an officially sanctioned special* edition or a dealer job?

It's apparently official. A quick search reveals that more than one person bought one, too.

£50 Lotus (at the time of posting).

They look brilliant, but aren't really that brilliant IMHO.

Is it wrong to like these? Sounds like it might well be World of pain though with the description of the chassis..

Chrome bumper strips, black side rubbing strips. Because above all, it's a Rover. £1000 Tile Cross, but "nationwide delivery available" for @RoverFolkUs.

What a honey! As much as I'd like a dog dick red rover in my life, I have an MG shaped nuisance to keep me busy at the moment :)

Not wrong. They're The Future of Motoring, seen through the lens of an ambitious kit car builder in 1975.

They look ace though, proper Space 1999 stuff.

Will be interesting to see where that ends up- I paid the same as the current bid (£500ish) for mine which had a galv chassis fitted but has needed a lot of other work.

My favourite Mercedes. I know it would be better with the 2.8 six, but somehow the shiteness of the cheapskate 4 on a carburettor does it.

Properly Orange.  I really like Orange for cars. An orange 230CE must be as rare as. This is a "local" car. When it was new I lived near the supplying and later servicing dealer in Cheltenham. Lovely to see it with the proper colour-coded wheel covers. Probably the only car that I would prefer to have with a sunroof.

Really like that though think the front spoiler makes the whole front end look bent down. Painting it black would help id say. Opinions like arseholes and all that.

Official. In fact the only special paint scheme I think.

Try this?

Failing that just plug the listing number 135207707662 into ebay's search.

1979 leyland sherpa fire engine - Picture 3 of 13

1979 leyland sherpa fire engine | eBay

It's still got the (high pressure?) hoses, so you could take those absolutely fucking hateful number plates off and blast them into a skip. Or the sea, or something.
