Or you could visit this absolute thundering weapon of a dealer asking £4k for a V6:

Pretty sure it's been there for a good nine months so far.

Overpriced but I really love their styling and the V6 is super rare. Needs to be a manual though and you might as well get a Xedos 6.

Meanwhile, here's a cheap LS460 for under 3 grand, which sounds like a steal despite the high tax bracket.

So do I! I remember Car magazine running a feature about all cars looking the same in 1990, but it's one of my favourite styling eras.

'This is particularly true of the nose treatment: the ‘face’ of a car. All three makers – as well as number of continental manufacturers – have settled on the droop nose/narrow horizontal grille/shallow tapered headlamps treatment for every model in their range. It’s plainly a shape people like.'

Transit mk3 project | eBay

Correctly engined Transit in Hereford. You could have a nice day out cheese rolling, then come back up the A49 just listening to that engine note as you thrash it between the gears.

I am seriously getting a bit  interested in this low mileage beastie coming up in Kings Lynn on 27/28th

I do have to convince my good lady that it is as robust and easily looked after as the Ovlov 940 but I think the leather instead of velour may sway her

This went through the auction today at about 3.30pm. Amazeballs 21st century tech allowed us to register for bidding from a layby 50 miles from home.
Prior to it getting driven through internet bids were only at £1200 - happy days. Soon as the bidding opened the guy announced that he had commision bids so opening price was actually £3,500 - immediately too rich for us.
Sold at £3,800 plus commision which (I reckon) was pretty good on the day.

(The auctioneers blah-de-blah also stated that this was an ex-demo vehicle so, in essence, only single owner since 1999 - cool)

Sweet looking, but probably not very original 1300.

Colour, wheels and seats to start with. There’s a wire running through the bulkhead fuel rubber ( which is available new), gearstick looks awful, and it’s missing a nose badge.

Snap on stuff hasn't been the same in over ten years, a case of their quality dropping & competition improving.

ChatGPT to the rescue! I've never used it before, and am really impressed.

Certainly! Here's the corrected and punctuated text:

"(LHD) Chrysler Sebring 2.5 V6 LX Convertible, 5-speed auto. MOT January 2025. 96K from new with history coming out its backside. Also, it's eligible for classic insurance. I also have every MOT from when it came into the (UK) in 2005 from Houston, Texas, via Germany to Manchester. I have every document from the States and every invoice for work done to this car from the States and UK, plus all MOTs done in the UK from day one. It's honestly packed with history. I bought this car from Manchester 2 years ago. I sold it to a guy in St Austell, and now, as luck would have it, a friend of mine bought it from that guy I sold it to. My mate did lots of work to get it MOTed, i.e., new bottom arms and ball joints. Parts came in from Germany, plus new brake pipes from front to back, new pads, and front discs. Cam belt done at 75K, all invoices to prove, and lots more. It's also had 4 new tyres on Crombe alloys. The electric roof works very well with 100% no leaks. I've had it in the jet wash just to make sure there are no leaks, and the roof is quick to open or close. Plus, when down, it has a full tonneau cover. The bodywork, I have to say, is very, very good, and on MOT, he even addressed the advisories. It comes with fully working roof, electric windows, electric mirrors, CD, air con, remote central locking with alarm, Bluetooth for hands-free, full black and white leather interior. All seats are very good with some wear to the passenger's seat. Everything works, and it's one hell of a nice car to drive. To be honest, not that bad on petrol, around 35/40 on a long run, and around 30 in town. Also, it's only had 3 former keepers in the UK, and I was one of them in 2021 and one from the States. OK, I know this wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea for a daily drive, but I love it, and I know others will. I also know it's still winter, but it's got a roof, and by the way, the heaters are working fine, and they're blowing nice and hot. OK, so a nice car to drive, plus all the car shows coming up. Low miles, and that's from new. 1 year's MOT, a big folder full of invoices from the States and UK. I do have the manual for it but need to find it, as I didn't give it to the guy I sold it to 2 years ago. I forgot to pass it to him. I'm in no rush to sell, as I love driving it, and I will only sell it for the asking price. That's the price you see on the ad, not the price you see in your head. Remember, spring and summer are not too far away, plus we got a few car shows coming up.

£1595 may PX. The car is in Bodmin, Cornwall. I did a nice long run in it today, 27/01/24, from Bodmin to Bristol and back. Engine sweet, temp gauge stayed normal even in traffic, but I knew it would, and I clocked it at 41 MPG at a steady 65/70."
