Rover Cityrover | eBay

'Unusual to see any of these left now. They were badly made in a country not known for quality, it's rusty, the fuel gauge doesn't work and it's basically a steaming pile of wank. But that's enough about the  Iv*co, here is my City Rover...'

To be fair, that's the 'improved' Mk2 CityRover, so it's slightly less wank than the original.

I have to wonder about ebay adds is there an option for an AI write up now?

"This Rover Cityrover is a reliable and practical hatchback that seats up to five people. It features a manual transmission and runs on petrol fuel. The exterior is finished in a sleek silver colour, while the interior has a comfortable grey colour scheme. The car has five doors, making it easy to access, and is manufactured by Rover. This vehicle is perfect for those who desire a practical and comfortable ride without the need to worry about the condition. Whether you're running errands around town or embarking on a long road trip, this Rover Cityrover has got you covered. Bid with confidence and bid now!"

I have seen this style of drively description for a few cars now and it seems a bit inhuman!

All of the old Mercedes action here has got me looking at them f.f.s!  This cassette-era S-Class has more class than any blue-tooth and privacy-glass era barge.

Good colour

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276193208950.  This seller always has interesting stuff, but often changes his eBay id. Why would you do that?

The Montego wheel trims work well on this.

Yes there is. I listed a few things recently and was offered the option. I can't see that it adds any value for sellers but maybe they are banking on it 'learning' and getting better/competent.

The great unwashed will see adjectives like 'sleek' and 'comfortable' and think it's perfect!

Yup - it's a thing now.
I think you are meant to imagine a Clarkson type voiceover describing the car  as you read the words.
Mostly pretty wanky - I'm looking at low end shite and the description is telling me that a £1,000, 2008 car is the absolute dog's bollocks - nah!

With an automatic they aren't worth much more in average condition, for good reasons.

3 litre V6, FSH,  change from a grand, Sheffield. From an orderly queue.

That meanwhile is a good deal.

I figured the BMW was a 'low cost, high liability' one but, even so, that's a nuts price?
The 406 is lovely but it would be one car too many here at the moment I'm afraid (but for a grand?)

There's so many of them for sale, and not many people that want to bother. Doing the typical engine related issues would be just as much as the asking price of the car. A manual one on the other side is rare and has one major potential bork factor less, so that would normally be much more than the typical E63 asking price.

Spam - more bargain BMWs listed for Lampeter than there are in the whole place! (Probably, I have been there).
