The temptation to get your own back and defecate on that van from  a great height must be immense.

Also, just for all the LOLZ...

No, though I'd wager if you went on the motorway with that red thing it wouldnt be long before you were given a tug by the Bill

You give links to road signs. Again they do not prove anything. The B&W is form the Preston Bypass. This is very old and out of date sign.

The colour one is from a fictional motorway, again it does not prove anything.

The highway code is very vague too.

Rule 253

Prohibited vehicles. Motorways MUST NOT be used by pedestrians, holders of provisional motorcycle licences, riders of motorcycles under 50 cc (4 kW), cyclists, horse riders, certain slow-moving vehicles and those carrying oversized loads (except by special permission), agricultural vehicles, and powered wheelchairs/powered mobility scooters (see Rules 36 to 46 inclusive).

I wonder what is is covered by certain slow-moving vehicles? How slow is slow. There is no min speed limit.

Cars like that French one are in the same class as say the new Ami.

The new Ami has a 6kW so presumably passes the 4kW rule but presumably fails with a top speed  of 28mph, but you’d have to be seriously deranged to want to mix with 40Tn lorries on a motorway.

I bet there isn't a more satisfying thing to do (except petrol bomb an Iveco) to a motor than jet wash, clean and polish this

The speed limit for all licence-free cars is 45 km/h, regardless of the make, for a power of 6 kW (8.15 HP)

So, 28mph for your Sans Permis.
Same as a 50cc moped.
I rather suspect that this would be the definition of slow moving vehicle, and yet there is no minimum speed limit, after all no one goes around handing out fines when you are stuck in a slow moving queue on the M6. I imagine its relative, in normal running conditions where the likely slowest moving vehicle will be between 45 and 50 and most travelling faster than that, that something going 28mph or less would be dangerous.

You could always pootle up and down your local motorway in one and see how long it takes to get a pull from Traffic or end up being hosed off the wheels of a 36 tonner.

You might have to take it a little bit easy with the jet wash mind, otherwise it'll end up looking like this.

Asking for a friend...

Any indication of price/location on the ad at all?

Yes, I know it's a truly awful idea. But if it's less than scrap value....

My local motorway is called an Autovía . The regulations for these are clear.

Thank you. That would be a nearly 300 mile trip one way, I think the cost of transportation would make it not worthwhile. I think £1 a mile is normally pretty cheap these days? So at least £300 ish just to get it here

Thank you though for the kind offer of asking for details, but I'm 'oot :(

i think it would be a bit of a pisstake to "pre-book an MOT M9" ;)
