@Schaefftmore 323 deets. 1.5 made in 1994 but registered in 1998 on an M??? Confused. Still not sure about gearbag.

Looks like it has Aircon?

Must be imported, has KM's on MOT history.

I was wondering of this was a JDM(Australia import because of the white color, it would be very unusual for them to sell in white in Europe. 1.5 is no particularly special engine for them, 88hp from the looks of it. The MOT history looks good, its low mileage  (although it somehow lost quite a few km in the last few years...) and theres not rot visible from the outside which is very good news. Definitely worth saving!

Ah, more pics added, it is a manual - so probably a unicorn in the UK, as most were auto like mine.

Aftermarket steering wheel, how odd. Electric windows aren't too common in these either. And the Japanese 1.5 that this one has actually produces 95hp, not 88. Shame its not the 125hp version or the 135hp 1.8.

Yes, the 1.8 would have been particularly exciting!

So, so wrong, but...

Could be a very cheap V8 and that dodgy re-trim has cured one of the worst aspects of early 300’s, namely the nasty light grey plastic seats that split as soon as look at em. You can buy paint to cover up the orange bits.

Sorry, yes, makers name I believe (Skoda do have a sense of humour).

My mk2 Favorit had speakers with 'Škoda Power' written on them. They do indeed have a sense of humour.

SUZUKI GT250 single seat, barn find. | eBay

That's going straight to the watch list. Wonder if that's an FLF kit? It'd look magic Heron colours, might have to stick a bid on at some point.

Edit:  'You're currently the highest bidder'

Whoops!

Mate of mine has half a dozen of these New Yorkers. Shame the auto gearboxes are so flaky on these. Im sure I could get one, its just not economically feasible. Its local, too but for 750 quid and without MOT its not the bargain the seller believes it to be. Can easily pick one up in Germany or the Netherlands for the same money.

Edit: Off the road for 8 years, dream on...

If it wasn't for the K11 photobomb that picture could have been taken in 1984.

Very quick and dirty 'shopping attempt...

@1duckfind room at the inn. Golf-India-Bravo.

That's about £1100 over my price point for a scirocco!

It would be excellent to see this saved. The guy had a mare trying to find a replacement drivers window hence the Perspex but it mustn't be impossible.

I liked the bit in the description that said "Sadly it is getting used less and less mainly due to my 16 year daughter refusing to go in it unless its dark". Personally I'd keep the car and get rid of the daughter.

That bit really irked me. I bought mine last year when I was 18 and I've heard nothing but good about mine, even from my friends that haven't got a clue about cars...but I suppose that's more about who you associate with. Just takes a robust sense of humor, really.

What's scary to me is that she'd rather be caught in their Picasso.
