Spears or Reaper Captiva, says damage to offside, but helpfully doesn't supply any pictures of the affected area. £56 so far in Welshland. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrysler-captiva-spares-or-repair/363094618890?hash=item548a20330a:g:-2MAAOSwsMZfUSHB

I'd go as far as Ouch.

...and it has the foam block at the top of the wheel well. Should be ripe for corrosion later on!

Be like @TheDoctor albeit with a Honda engine and an unusual interior - I thought these all had the cool boxy interior that my R8 and the Concerto had?

Later Tourers slightly overlapped the bubble shape, so got the modern curvy interior.

Lol, I commute past that every day... there's a nice looking Land Cruiser 100 metres away that hasn't moved for about five years. https://www.google.com/maps/@51.4441251,-1.0193487,3a,16.3y,17.36h,87.88t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1ssRpsxZopzRpvVDIDiafDqQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

I might buy this. The one I had before was the most fun car I've ever driven. Shit on fuel though, presumably due to the 4wd system (it's always 'active', the magic button effectively just locks the centre diff).

They tend to command daft money these days though (especially the stronger injected versions) so may not stay at this price!

The water company I worked for in summer 2001 had one. It was in demand by the lab guys. More recently peter troth the x1/9 specialist I use near Welshpool has one and uses it as a courtesy car. He’s fully rust proofed it in that ever single bit of metal ( bar the outside paint) is coated in gunk.

The one I had was pretty much made of underseal but that didn't stop it from failing every MoT on corrosion. The timing belt interval in these is pretty much annual too, mine was on 140k when it died and was on its seventh belt, even then I got £300 for it from an ambitious AS member who thought they could repair it!
