£2k not crazy from a dealer.

There is some rust to the rear arches and the windscreen pillars but nothing that's not reversible.

Might have to ask Santa for a tube of that there Rust Reverser.

That is lush.

Might have to ask Santa for £2,000.  :(

Didn’t the Runner have leg-warming vents which drove warm air from the radiator?

They copped that idea from the Honda Spacy, it had those in 1983!

Sure, I don't think he will get anything near that, he's a chancer but I just don't understand why people seem hostile to the principle of making a profit.

It's because many Shiters associate buying and selling cars with loss. Profit is outside the experience of most of us.

Oooh, want, buy (using man maths).

Have. Bored now, sell for whatever. Just take it away please. Is that all? OK then.

Yup.  Only bikes I've ever owned with heating.

(Not massively effective if I'm honest.)

No, it was a nice idea but it never worked on any of the ones I had!

Vendor doesn't seem to have english as a first language, or is illiterate, as the blurb is about as comprehensible as Carcoat Damphands.

Decent looking facelift W220 S500 for under a grand. If I wasn't about to move and had the space, I definitely would, seems to be an excellent deal!

Did Mercedes not even bother to think what their horrible beige leather and plastic trim would look like after 10 years, let alone 20.

Now being completely tasteless I would be seen dead in that. I like that it is described as a family car/hearse, Ideal if you are doing a Kind Hearts and Coronets job killing off everyone between you and the family fortune/title.

I see the same seller has a Mitsuoka Le Seyde as well, for your day off and a nice Toyota Dog bus for a part time job as a child-catcher.

Not the ideal colour for an early morning stakeout but never mind.

I'm sure @TripleRich will be interested.

Rare car, easy to spot an early one as the rear trim is painted body colour and the dash vents are different.

The vinyl roof & fog lamps would have been an option.  The side trims have been pinched from a later Granada.  It will be slow, the 1.7 made 75HP when new.

'provenance'

That and 'commensurate' are the two words that guarantee an inflated price from some plastic Laurence Llewellyn Bowen type  who's watched too much bleeding television.
