'provenance'

That and 'commensurate' are the two words that guarantee an inflated price from some plastic Laurence Llewellyn Bowen type  who's watched too much bleeding television.

I never gave these Avensis a 2nd look when they were new but whatever I quite like this.

I think they look alright with the facelift. Not sure if these made 150bhp. Seems a bit optimistic but I don't know what difference the vvt made.

I think egg posted this already but I'm reposting it because I like it so much. 2.0 Auto Estate must be the best combination. Near to me and really decent MOT history, though it's no Carina E....

Consul Cortina 1500GT with a few period mods. Step back in time to 1975.

This is fantastic, not been taxed since Feb 1982.

Love the period interior. I remember these padded vinyl seat covers for sale in local motor-factors.

Single bullet-mirror plus another on the door, Lotus quarter bumpers, crusty full-chrome 1600E rostyles. I would have suggested do-not-paint to keep it's gorgeous tarnished faded original character but unfortunately it needs quite a bit of body work.

Don't look at the price.  PMSL.

i really like Armstrong Siddley's, back in the day they were proper, old money posh.

like a Daimler, they were a cut above a Rover, and far superior to one of them nouveau-rich jaguars.

and this seems to be a like a colony of lost Armstrongs (and Daimlers)

plus Armstrong Siddeley have the best hood ornament ever , a Sphinx!

s-l1600.jpg

its currently not mot'd and the history has a load of advises when it last tested in 2016, and these clowns STILL think its worth £2k?

am i missing something, or are they sniffing glue??
