It's okay, I've found the perfect solution.  This is the only car that matches my house.  Collection thread just as soon as I've found someone to buy some internal organs.

I mean, it's practical and interesting, but they're still going to charge me for taking a van into the local tip, aren't they?

£8995!  And I sold mine for £45.  Same colour too (under the Dulux orange, around the wob)

For half the price, you could get this imported turbo Cherry instead.

That said, I'd probably spent the extra and get the Europe, 10K doesn't seem totally insane for a very rare car in what looks to be very good condition.  Proper enthusiast material though, so it might be sitting around waiting for a buyer for a while.

Another fuckin' flipper.

On the other hand, the internet means that this car's sale history is quite well-known, so hopefully he'll be stuck with it for years to come.

Surely what you're referring to as 'flipping' is simply someone attempting to make money.  Something is worth what the market will pay for it, no?  If he's got a bargain at auction and is marketing it better to attract a higher price then what's wrong with that?  Good conservative Friedman free-market economics.

if its as good as it looks he got a ridiculous bargain, but then again 10k seems an awful lot

I'll have said before on here, I once went to get an Imp gearbox from a chap in Barnsley and he built miniature working lorrys. He spoke at me for about 2 hours about them until I managed to escape.

For a short time after that I was probably one of the principal authorities on miniature truck building in the UK, or even the world.

Thankfully I managed to remove most of the information from my brain with a massive amount of drugs and alcohol and I've since managed to continue a relatively normal existence but it was touch and go there for a while.

for some reason, best known to myself, i've really liked these ever since seeing them new on Piaggio's stand 20 odd years ago, at the motorbike show. (i think)

this is the first one i've seen for sale in forever that isn't fucked, but pretty much as new. nice.

Back window worth looking at

It's at Welsh Border Motor Spares in Welshpool. If it's the same lad running as it 18-20 years ago, he's a brilliant bloke.
