These Blazers are tempting for the OMGSNOKAOS, but I seem to remember someone on here had one (Eddie?) and said they were shit.

It looks like a giant, more complicated, less reliable Frontera.

When are you picking it up?

These seem to have reached the bottom of their depreciation curve - I paid £1650 for mine over 10 years ago (still the most expensive car I've ever bought), and they haven't got any cheaper since then.

I regularly see STS, even clean ones, for under a grand, which is about what I'd be willing to pay for one. Almost bough one for 300 quid that just needed brake work, but in typical bumtree fashion, the seller was an idiot.

Typical owner that has no clue about what he owns. There's no such thing as a pre-fl 525i, the 523i IS a 2.5 that is no different to any other 523i ffs...

It's a £250 bargain barge, who cares what the owner thinks.

I'm guessing he spent more than the asking price on fixing the air suspension

Not saying its not a good deal, just the typical owner I wouldnt wanna buy anything worth a quid more from. Someone will drive it for a few weeks and then make their money back by parting it out.

That looks good until you read that the "advisories" include such crackers as the second last one..

Prices are really on the rise now, at almost 200k miles this would have cost half that 2 or 3 years ago.

Yes it won't be a retest but a new test so hope that the car has not developed a new fault in the meantime. May not be using it but its an eccentric but kind gesture to a new owner - only trouble is you have to pay £100 deposit before it goes for the test. As a buyer it sounds like avoidable hassle.
