Oof I've got that 528I watch listed HARD. I think it might go above my price range though.

I'd do that Dacia for 500 quid. Tinfoil to plate obfusticate is a new one.

Doesn't matter, as ANPR won't pick up Romanian plates anyway.

Couple of PMs with Rob and I've texted the buyer like a typical Gumtree buyer messer to see if still for sale (advert 8 days old)

That's my old one.  Doesn't look like he's done much with it other than sand the paint and fit the wheels....

OK so, he's ruined the bodywork by making it even more rust-friendly. Brilliant.

Normally you'd fit the Alfa wheels if you were getting rid of metrics but C-matic CXs only ever had imperial wheels. Still, I'm sure the fella has his reasons.....

This was truly beyond awful! I have a soft spot for the Octavia, especially the estate version, so went along to have a look at this. Oh. deary. me.

Fresh white paint to approx 20mm depth, applied with Stevie Wonders 'guide dog. Not by, with, using the dog as a brush. Several, nae, many king size tubs of wob having been inserted, and I am pretty sure the roof/gutter interface was finest Tiger Seal (actually more likely a cheap rip off Chinesium copy of Tiger Seal) before the application of the guide dog.

How much for this delightful piece of art motoring history? After an epic battle between a phone bidder and an online bidder (note neither there to look at it) a mere 2.8 kilopounds.

The world has gone mad!
